Lokalizacja, dostęp do ładnej plaży
Fitness Center- za małe pomieszczenie. Żartem była dostępność tylko 2 mat do ćwiczeń. Brak sprayu do czyszczenia mat i sprzętu.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. It is the oldest resort in Waikiki but it was the most gorgeous. The inside bakery is the very best.
I didn't like you have to register for all of the activities in order to participate on property.

Iconic landmark, beautiful lobby and grounds/gardens, stunning view from our balcony, proximity to the beach
Rooms were drab/dank and desperately needed an upgrade. Not cozy. Mold on vents and rusted fixtures. Pool area was not properly cared for - we had to bus our own chair area more than once. Beach chairs and umbrellas need to be rented but should be an included amenity given the cost of our stay.

I stayed in an ocean front room for the first five days of my stay which was spectacular. I then returned for two nights and had booked a tower room for the architecture and views. I was extremely disappointed for a range of reasons. The room had a great view however it had not been cleaned properly, the interior was old, tired and substandard. The entire tower needs renovating. The first morning I woke to the nauseating smell of fried breakfasts and ketchup as the tower building is close to the hotel kitchen. I would urge travellers not to stay in this part of the hotel until the entire building is renovated. Steven, the Head of House Keeping was excellent. He moved me to an ocean from suite which was stunning and more to my taste.
Cleanliness and maintenance of the room. See above.

Best location on Waikiki Beach. Beautiful well maintained heritage building. Large size rooms with spectacular views. The lush tropical garden and grounds are a knock out and a welcome respite to the retail madness of the high street. The location is walkable and accessible to everything one needs; whether it shops, restaurants or recreational activities. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! The Royal Hawaiian is the epitome of old world Oahu.
The bakery at the morning coffee station is cute and well serviced but the goods on sale are substandard pastries. Could definitely do better in this area. All the retail in the foyer areas should all open at 9 am. Guests are up early and there is a lost opportunity with erratic retail times.

Direkt Stadt Mitte

We stayed in the newer annex portion of the Royal Hawaiian and our room had a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. The hotel location is very convenient to shopping and other restaurants. The pool associated with the Royal Hawaiin is also shared with The Sheraton Waikiki Resort next door but with no disadvantage. The Royal Hawaiin has a beach area with amenities.
We really can't think of anything that was not to our liking or to our preconceived idea of this resort during our stay.
One thing the resort could add to this type of room is some of lighting on the veranda. It's an ideal sitting area.

Staying in such an iconic resort in such a great location.
The restaurant and bar and others nearby were all very good.
The historic room was a step back in time with enough of the modern touches.
Our housekeeper was very friendly - thank you.
We booked a historic ocean view room as we wanted the yesteryear experience but also have an ocean view. The photo of those rooms shows an ocean view out the window. Our window had no such view as the palm trees restricted it. We should have saved significant amount of money if we booked historic garden view. When we discussed with front desk management they confirmed to get an actual ocean view you need to stay in new tower (defeated the purpose of staying here when there are many other resorts nearby with much better facilities and pools)
The offered us a $100 credit but that didn’t go very far compared to a garden room.
A disappointment as every other part was great - save your money and get a garden view.
Compare the photos of the Booking.com site for or room and what we got below.

The Royal Hawaiian is everything I imagined it would be. It’s in the perfect location, very luxurious with the most friendly and helpful staff. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed!
The only negative is the price. Don’t get me wrong, it’s 100% worth the money.. I just wish it was a little less so I could have stayed longer!

Great Location
Very outdated rooms with dated furniture and fixtures

We enjoyed the 1920’s feel of the place, the elegance, the peacefulness and quiet. The decor, the pink lighting, the fact that it is off the main road.
The pool was kind of dirty and small and we weren’t informed that we had access to the Sheraton pool until we found out on our last day there v

Everything- this is one of the top places I have ever stayed. I will be returning to Hawaii in the near future and I will be staying here every time.
Wish the pool and hot tub stayed open past 6 pm

Gorgeous iconic hotel in the perfect location.
Being an older hotel I did find noise issues outside my room but everything else made up for it.

The Royal Hawaiian Resort is located right at Waikiki Beach and the view from the tower room was beautiful. The gardens are also very nice and the beach right in front of the hotel is clean and also beautiful. After staying there 13 years ago, I wanted to come back and relive the great memories I had of this place…
The hotel feels and looks old. Unfortunately this stay was a disappointment on many levels and just not worth the price. You pay the location and the view. These are the 5 star ratings I would give the hotel. Besides this, the room was not fully clean, we had to get rid of spider webs before unpacking. The mattress is in desperate need of replacement and there was an awful odor coming out of the toilet every time it was flushed. The room felt more like being in a motel than in a 5 star resort. For this kind of money, I expect more. The balcony from which we wanted to enjoy the view was full of bird poop and just dirty with old furniture.
Besides paying resort fees, you still have to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas (~$100 for one set for a day close to the water).
No one once asked us if we enjoyed our stay when checking-out. Didn’t make us feel very welcome or that the hotel really cares about their guests. I’ve read a lot of comments before booking the hotel and thought I want to experience it for myself. Now I can say that the reviews were mostly right when talking about the resort showing its age and that the money guests pay is not invested in improving the hotel.

I thought charging for umbrellas was a bit over the top given what u pay to stay there.

Everyone that worked there was absolutely amazing. I had wonderful interactions with all of the employees… top notch.
The fitness facility is way too small, especially the free weights area. It was always very crowded and sometimes no room to work out. The fitness center is important to me.
2.5
Beautiful landmark and location, the lobby was more or less maintained, the guest rooms were not. The sink had cracks in the finish, the furnishings are old and tired. The mattress was horrific. The boiler was unable to keep up with the demand for hot water at peak times. I have always loved this property, but JW Marriott would be ashamed that these rooms are part of the Luxury Collection in his namesake portfolio.
See above, Also there was a previous guests used hard candy and other detritus under the bedside table. I dropped medication on the floor and found it and other garbage there. That was nasty.
2.5
