Staff was very friendly, and it was very clean

The pillows were very thin and not comfortable at all, and it was a little more expensive than other hotels for the same type of room

I did not like anything about this place.

To start off with when I went inside to check in no one helped me for about 5 minutes. Then, I was told that my room had been changed to a handicapped room which I did NOT want. The attendant was adamant that it was nice and it was not. She said that it was the "system" that had made the change because they overbooked rooms. That is not my problem. I have had my reservations for several months. I was told that was the only room available. The woman (an older woman) was not kind or helpful. She was flippant. The room smelled musty and bad; it was the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was not good. The hotel lobby was dark and dreary. The manager was not available the whole time I was there. I am so disappointed that our reservation was changed and that they didn't even care.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, location was good

The woman who checked us in was so calm and polite. She really excelled and made our stay special. I watched her successfully navigate an angry customer with grace. She deserves recognition, I just wish I could remember her name. We were in town for an anime convention. And there were plenty of pillows. Very nice.

I think the only thing anyone complained about was that the curtains didn't close all the way.
