Booking.com and Hampton Inn canceled our rooms the very day we were to check in. We were in town for our son’s Fire Academy Graduation and ended up with no place stay. Shame on you all for leaving us in this situation. We booked our rooms far in advance to get nothing. You left me crying.

One of the best in Cañon City. Easy parking, accessible location, clean, good shower, comfy bed.

The amenities were a little lacking. We only had one bath towel in our king room, and I’m not sure if a comforter was missing, but there was only a sheet and super thin blanket on the bed.

Not being able to get the room I reserved and having to sleep on a very uncomfortable roll away bed. Otherwise they would have canceled my reservation.

Pros: Great hot tub & pool, Which I used. Well equipped gym. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. One of the most quiet locations as it was at the end of a road with no through traffic. Located near good places to eat and close to a Walmart. Good to have a mini fridge and microwave, you'll need it. Overall I liked the stay, but too expensive considering the cons.

Cons: No continental breakfast, only a brown bag with a muffin, granola bar, and a water. Coffee pot in room was filthy. Coffee offered in lobby was terrible and more like bland tea. Shower water was inadequately hot in the evening, but hot enough in the morning. No wash cloths and only 1.5 towels per person. T.v. remote wouldn't function correctly. Staff attempted to assist with t.v. but said we would have to use the control button on the t.v. instead.

I have stayed at this hotel several times pre-Covid. It has absolutely gone downhill. They have not maintained the hotel, probably due to Covid issues. I doubt I will be staying here again, and currently do not recommend.

The pool was nice for the kids.

Room was dirty (hair all over bathroom floor, bed looked disheveled, random sock left laying on the floor).
