Stayed in A402. - Clean, very spacious apartment. - Kithcen was fully equipped with all that one needs. - There are BBQ in the middle court that anyone can use. - Very nice inner court. - Pool and tennis courts located towards the beach. - Our unit was located more towards the road, but with a nice view on the ocean from the balcony. - Communication prior to the stay was good and prompt. - There were tennis racquets, some fins, and other things that we could use! Overall, good stay for family.

- Could not get the BBQ to heat more than 375. - We ran out of soap and could not get more from reception since they just handle keys... kind of odd.

The room was comfortable and spacious for a family of 5. Enough utensils and dishes to cook some meals which made it convenient. Beautiful lawn, very good location in South Maui and a very good value compared to higher and more expensive resorts. It’s right on the beach!!!

Not much to say about this property because I didn’t expect a whole lot since it was within our budget. There are plenty of places you can stay that are more luxurious ($$$$) and there are many that are not, ($). But for a family of 5 that needed more room, Maui Sunset was the perfect choice for me.

it was exceptionally well groomed & the pool was pristine clean. I loved the sea view from our room. -when we entered the condo we noticed how really clean it was- thanks! -we liked the tv & PVR system, which was a better way than straight live tv. -furniture was comfortable & attractive. -the suite looked recently renovated & the floor new- good looking!

-the bed was a bit hard but I know people like different attributes. -the air conditioning was fine but we couldn’t get it to go all night (4 hour limit & then reset). that’s hard when it’s hot at night.

The beach is beautiful, easy access and extremely clean! The pool and hot tub area was very convenient and was kept very clean with lots of seating. The landscaping in the courtyard was absolutely beautiful with lawns like putting greens. Our unit was comfortable and both maintenance and housekeeping were very accommodating when we needed anything.

We weren't impressed by the ladies at the front desk. They weren't very helpful and a bit cranky when we had questions. It was like we were bothering them.

I like everything except the AC.

Had to turn off the AC every four hours which interrupted my sleep.

Good size, great view from apt 414b, clean, had most of what we needed, lots of stores and restaurants within a few minutes drive, nice beach in front of property, gorgeous sunsets

when you pull up, I was nervous that I picked a dump but it’s beautiful inside the property but not from the outside; no cooler or snorkel gear offered like in the other property I stayed at

Location, pool, views.

Rooms were extremely dirty. AC in the unit above mine was leaking into my patio and it took many days for them to fix it. It was leaking again when I left today. Staff was not helpful and some of them were rude for no reason. Would not recommend to anyone.

The view and the grounds

The condo’s a/c was almost nonexistent. we had to go buy fans, very minimally stocked kitchen, and was not very clean. We had to wear shoes inside, which we NEVER do, because the carpet and floors were filthy. It made our bare feet look like we were walking without shoes out in the parking lot. There was old coffee in the coffee pot and dried eggs and food in the dishwasher.

it was filthy and unsafe. I had to wash the linens at midnight to get dark spots off. Workmen were given access to our room without us being warned and cash and valuables were in plain sight. The appliances didn’t work—including the microwave and the safe: An entire wall of outlets didn’t work to facilitate a phone charger, toaster, or coffee maker. there was an aggressive dog next to us. the pool fob never worked so we couldn’t use the pool without annoying other guests for access. housekeeping and Maintenance were non responsive the entire stay. we left three days early and found another place :

Loved that it was clean when entering, and that it wasn’t outdated. Super pleased with this condo.

There were no dish cloths to wash dishes or face cloths to wash your face. The remote for the 2nd bedroom was no where to be found. It would have been helpful to have a griddle for pancakes.
