The location was good. Sports bar & Grill within walking distance. The people at the front desk were friendly.

Outside sign and online listing advertise "Newly remodeled Rooms". They fail to mention that it's a work in progress. Our room had threadbare carpet and old furniture. The room is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. Forget about covid protocols, this doesn't even meet substandard protocols. The phone and remote were filthy. I wet a tissue and wiped off black residue from both. All switches and switch plates as well as door frames were filthy. Fortunately, the linens and towels were clean. A continental breakfast was advertised -- there was none. Not even coffee and there is no coffee maker in the room.

The woman who checked me out was extremely rude and did not want to give me my deposit back, because she assumed that there were more people that stayed in the room and that there was a pet that stayed because my friend picked me up and she and another friend were exiting the room helping with my luggage. I informed her they had just gotten to the room and they did not stay nor was there any pet that stayed in the room. She accused me of not being honest and I challenged her to look at her camera's and she would see they arrived at 11:32 and did not stay the night. She reluctantly gave me back my deposit. That woman has no business serving the public. She is extremely unprofessional, judgmental, rude, accusatory and hasn't a clue what she is doing.

People at desk very friendly. Ground level. Carpet clean. Bed comfortable.

Smoke detector broke. Dirt spots on walls. Bathtub dirty. Kleenex cover hanging because broken. Lamp shade broken and no bulbs in it.

Stayed warm

Finding our room was a challenge. The motel was split by a sports bar. Unfortunately it was Monday night so it was full of football people & we had to park elsewhere due to the shared lot was FULL. It was cold walking at least half a block with our luggage. The toilet had a line of, guessing mold, at the water level, the basket with coffee stuff was dirty, dead bugs on the window seal. Our key card holder & website said breakfast but none to have. We had asked for another to park near and we told they were ALL booked. Funny thing, in the morning there were many empty places. I think booking thru booking.com gave us low priority, but maybe not

We were given a room 2 doors from the bar and grill. So many people going to the bar that it was hard to find a parking space close to your room. Loud cars and trucks parked right outside our door that found it necessary to gun their engines as they left.

Advertised continental breakfast but there was none. Had to ring the bell to check in several times before anyone came to the door.

TV remote did not work properly. It could take 10 minutes to change channels. Called front desk and no one ever came.

Very much in need of repairs. Couldn't control room temperature. Shower barely worked. Lobby completely closed so no breakfast as advertised. Had to stay in adjacent place next to a bar. Didn't feel as safe leaving the car.
