One-floor motel, can park right beside room. Not much road noise in room. Room was clean. Chinese buffet across the parking lot. Attractive and friendly young lady checked me in well after hours, since I had been delayed by a storm.

Thin walls -- could hear neighbor's TV playing and his talking on phone until after midnight. Bed was fairly hard. Air conditioner cut on and off loudly all night and didn't have a fan-only mode for white noise.

Very accommodating front desk clerk at check-in. Booked a smoking room, was told there were none and she allowed us to smoke in a non-smoking room for the confusion, and provided us with an ashtray.

Received communication from the property after checkout stating we should have not smoked in the room, and that the entire property was non-smoking. There was a clear lack of communication between staff and whomever sent the message.

Good size room.

Lighting. This has been a trend this trip. Put some lights in these rooms. One ceiling light above where the table should be and one end table light (with weak bulbs) makes for a dark room.
