Nothing
The property has no AC the room was very hot and could not cool the room down below 90 degrees could not sleep Managment was no help. Told us just to use fans to blow around the hot air. They also told us that we had to change our own bed sheets and we had to get our own towels. No one from housekeeping could do that. The hotel itself is a mess stained carpets holes in the walls. The elevator did not work and we had to use stairs up 8 floors. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone in this condition and under this management

Location
No AC, was advertised on booking.com that it had AC! Staff didn’t speak or understand English which was problematic when my son got sick and threw up and we had to act out “vomit” and “clean up” to the hotel staff to get help.

Location
Everything but location. The hotel is under renovation. The hotel rugs throughout are disgusting. No A/C, tv didn't work and you have to switch elevators to name a few.

The location
The hotel is a disaster. Carpets are destroyed, visible flooding in hallways, all amenities unavailable for guests. The worst Hilton I've ever stayed in.
2.5 / 5.0
The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable.
With the construction going on the check-in was hard to find. Signage was terrible, parking next to impossible. Staff was almost nonexistent and didn’t seem to care about anything. The building was appallingly run down and filthy.

Nothing
The place was a construction project, not a hotel. We didn't know this was going on, until after we had made our reservation, and we were charged for the entire amount of our stay. Everything about the place was a disaster. Let me count the ways:
1. No public areas were open, no pool, no lobby/bar/restaurant, no hot tub, no anything.
2. No air conditioning, anywhere in the hotel. When we walked into our room, there was a floor fan in our room, going round and round (not an encouraging sign).
3. Full on construction/demolition going on everywhere.
4. Dirty, dingy, dark, awful.
5. Our room had no view. With only a few rooms being occupied (I guess other people were smarter than us, and didn't book there), I would think we could have had one of the better remaining rooms? But no.
6. Our room was up one elevator, then a 300 foot walk down a corridor (that was under demolition) to another elevator, then up that one to our floor. Every time we came and went from the facility, this was our experience.
7. "Breakfast" was crap.
8. The morning we were getting ready to leave, a "fire alarm" went off, so we had to rush out of the hotel much earlier than we wanted. There was no fire, no smoke, no fire trucks, no police cars, nothing going on. Just an incredibly loud and obnoxious fire alarm.
To summarize, this was the worst hotel experience of my life!

Nothing
The price definitely did not match the value.
No A/C, had to keep window open for air but construction noise outside was horrible. I had to take 3 elevators to get to my room, and sometime had to wait so long for the main elevator. All this wouldn’t have been so bad if the price was appropriate to the inconveniences

Room was ok.
Hallways. Very slow 1 elevator dirty

That it was close by to everything in Breckinridge.
There was no air conditioning. The rooms were semi decent. We ended up with the king bed room but the air conditioning not being available made it miserable. The elevators sucked, everything was closed down because of renovation, the breakfast was mid, the staff was ok, and the parking was extremely tight and pathetic.

Nothing….should be closed!!! Unacceptable!
Horrible stay !!!! This hotel should be closed during its renovation, which we were unaware of until we arrived. There is no clear signage as to where the entrance is since the area is congested with construction equipment, drapped with painting tarps and wet paint on the walls, all as you enter down a makeshift hallway into a makeshift registration area where the desk clerk tells you there’s no compensation for this inconvenience & by the way, the pool & hot tubs are closed too!
So, stuck in this nightmare & taking the one small elevator we discover a dark and uninviting room with blinds that barely opened to let some light into this dreary room!!! It was very noisy with the dinging elevator and construction beginning at 7:00 am! The breakfast was a joke, not to mention flies buzzing around the pastries!
It is clear that the customers are NOT the priority of this Double Tree! They make NO attempt to improve their very disgruntled customers stay, as I witnessed checking out behind a group of displeased patrons! Never so happy to get out of a hotel…climbing over painting tarps, around ladders to get to our car and out of a small garage that had no exit where the exit sign was posted, was not easy! Will never stay there again and will advise anyone considering it to find a different place that cares! Spare yourselves the misery of Double Tree in Breckenridge!
JUST CLOSE IT DOWN!!!! 👎🏼

The location was great for getting to town and hiking on the mountain, the staff was also incredibly nice considering all the struggles they were clearing facing due to the construction and poor system they were dealing.
When we arrived, it took 45 minutes to check in because the system between the housekeeping and front desk was screwed up so they didn’t have a clean room for us right away. After a couple different tries they found a clean room but it took us 4 different elevators to get to due to the construction. We were aware of the construction ahead of the trip but weren’t offered any discount for how minimal we were offered. We don’t feel the full price of the room should have been charged with all that was missing from our experience.

The hotel was only partially functioning. Half was blocked off. No food and entrances blocked off.

Renovations make it look closed
3.5 / 5.0
The hotel is under renovation and you have to enter the building from the outside door of the parking garage. The front desk is temporarily located on the 3rd floor. There were no luggage carts close. The front desk attendant was nice enough to find one for us.

Very worn, Hilton was renovating, no notice on booking.com. No water when we got there. No air condition or heat. Fan was filthy, first room window lock was broke. Took 40 min to get hot water once it came back on. No amenities were available, overwhelming epoxy smell on one of the floors. Worst Hilton stay ever!!

Pool & hot tub were advertised on website & signage throughout the building, the pool hasn’t been open in over a year and the hot tubs were not available either. Breakfast was advertised, but there was no breakfast. With 3 kids we were looking forward to these amenities but we’re quite disappointed. The pull out couch was terrible, the pillows sucked and nobody slept well. The room was 77 degrees. We were told mtnce would have to fix it because there was only heat available in the room. The Hoyle was quite dated- which is no biggie to us. The bathroom door hit the toilet when opening.
See above……
Did like- location to town. View. The front desk people were nice.

The location
The hot tubs were old and damaged and only two of the three worked. The elevator needs an upgrade, it is extremely slow.
3.5 / 5.0
The place is very very dated and needs an upgrade
The 2 lifts and the amount of time trying to use it. The lift is slow and volume of users is too much for it
4.0 / 5.0
Close proximity to lifts. Bar/restaurant was fairly good.
Split level design meant having to take multiple elevators to get
to my room.
1.0 / 5.0
Good staff!
Elevator was slow and small which rendered us to wait multiple trips due to too many people trying to use it at, facility was outdated and it showed from floor to ceiling, mattresses in rooms were uncomfortable, bathroom fixtures were old and rusty, bathroom shower was inadequate with fixture and water pressure.
3.5 / 5.0
i liked the location
no washer and dryer and they didn’t tell us they offered free water bottles so I racked up a bill paying for them.
2.0 / 5.0
The 9600 restaurant was okay.
There is only one elevator that takes forever to go up to the floor you need. No shuttle bus to take you to Main st. $45 per night for parking.
