Cheapest and I mean the cheapest place in town. Greeted by name on arrival. Room is sanitized with no smells, no stains, no bugs. The owner is clearly working very hard to keep this motel in business despite some unsavory guests in the area. Don't be surprised to see a big list of rules in the office stating no pets, no visitors, no cooking in room, no porn movies...

Getting in and out of the parking lot safely is tricky because there is limited space to turn. The rooms have clothing irons attached to rusted chains, partly open battery cover on the smoke detector (still functional), and styrofoam blocks stuffed in front of the cable box to prevent removal. Don't get me wrong, the linens and room are completely clean. But it's like visiting a motel from 1997.

It was quite. Clean and big. Nice staff.

The Beacon is great nice management and good ppl... Out of all of the Hotels and Motels in that area in Long Beach on PCH between Long Beach Blvd and Golden Ave The Beacon Inn is the most affordable and reliable....

THAT THE ICE MACHINE IS THERE BUT NOT ALWAYS ON OR AVAILABLE....other than that no complaints here...

Room & bathroom is big. TV serves its purpose.

Hair dryer not working. Bed sheets and pillows are not clean, strands of hair seen visible inside the pillow case. Deco of the room is out of date/ dated. Location is not the safest, homelessness is seen walking around the vicinity, area around the hotel is too quiet at night, it feels sketchy and unsafe to be outside so advisable to stay inside the room and locked the room lockset once inside. Hotel frontdesk attendant knocked on all room doors to remind guest to check out at 10am 30mins before, but told the guests it is 15mins to check-out time but in fact it is 30mins to check-out time. Hotel is not gated which makes it unsafe & exposed to the street which anyone can be walking into the hotel vicinity including walking up to the doors of guests' rooms which makes it highly unsafe to be outside especially when night falls.

The place was quiet. The room was roomy and the bathroom was spacious. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented its self.

The property owner was a bit rude.

Air Conditioned room.

The owner seemed exceptionally paranoid about everything - made the clients feel like potential criminals. He treated everyone like they were little children who needed to be scolded. On the morning of checkout, he paced the parking lot (despite how small it was) for three hours - like he was just waiting to catch someone at something.
