Very close to University of Vermont
Needs more dining tables in the morning
4.5 / 5.0
It was close to everything: malls, food, craft stores and more
The building was kind of noisy, for example when someone walked up stairs you could listen to. Plus the doors closing was another cracking noise. Booking said the breakfast was included and they were charging 10$ by person.
1.5 / 5.0
clean quiet hotel
front counter rude, unhelpful in all ways. sad excuse for a continental breakfast at high expense.
4.0 / 5.0
Didn’t have breakfast as flight before serving.

Breakfast was good . Location was good for shopping. Gavin and Debra were great.
We took a taxi ( Blazer) from the hotel to a restaurant 4 minutes away and when we arrived, they told us the fare was $38 . We argued and had it reduced to $30. Don't take Blazer Taxi they are ripoff artists. Another negative was the checkout person on Sunday morning. The woman was not very accommodating at the counter or the breakfast station ( she did both)

This facility was not up to the standards set by other LaQuinta's around the country. Renovation work was underway in areas, parking areas were not well lit, breakfast area was very small. This hotel advertised a continental breakfast and it was that, but disappointing to some people who are familiar with LaQuinta standards elsewhere. The price was truly outrageous but this was University of Vermont move in weekend and all hotels in the Burlington area were gouging high prices, as they do during special times and events at the schools, leaf peeping season, etc. The value for the money this weekend and the condition of the hotel made me angry but it is what it is. Doubtful I will ever be back to this particular LaQuinta. On a positive note, I found the staff friendly, helpful, and professional.
Renovations, absurdly high pricee, poor lighting in parking areas, very small breakfast area.

Everything was good. There was a problem with AC in my room, and they were super responsive and gave me a new room right away. The first night, the manager on night duty gave me the wrong time for breakfast the next morning. Not a big deal. I had a nice breakfast elsewhere.

Very comfortable room in a great location. Exceptionally clean, spacious room, modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Several restaurants and stores in walking distance. Airport shuttle was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone needing a hotel near the airport.
3.0 / 5.0
Under construction/renovation and near airport which was great, but wasn't the best neighborhood.
2.5 / 5.0
The room was clean and comfortable.
The place is under renovation. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The breakfast bar was in two separate sections instead of all together. So we missed some of the choices we had for breakfast. Also the power was shut off for 4 hours during the night.

The woman at front desk was helpful when I had questions and helpped me greatly by checking me in early and getting me a cab.
The 4 am coffee was the best and most therapeutic that I have had so far this trip! The 4 am desk person was soo pleasant for that early and arranged for my shuttle to airport.
The property was not as "nice" as previous La Quinta's I have stayed in. But very comfortable and did the job for me.
Walls are very thin and I had to run the fan on high to drown out noises upstairs and downstairs

Room was newly renovated. Comfortable bed.
Pool was closed. Hallway and elevator floors were dirty. Bathroom too small. Shower shampoo dispensers in bad location for already narrow shower. Breakfast was minimal options.

Our arrival at the hotel turned out to be far from the pleasant experience I had hoped for. As soon as we reached the hotel, we were greeted with the disappointing sight of ongoing remodeling work on the premises. The noise, dust, and overall chaos were not what I had envisioned for a relaxing stay.
To make matters worse, while we were in the parking lot, we witnessed a car being stolen. Shocked and concerned, we immediately rushed to the front desk to seek assistance. However, the person at the front desk displayed a complete lack of empathy and responsibility. Despite our urgent plea for help, she did not bother to call the police on our behalf. We had no choice but to take matters into our own hands and use our own cell phones to call the police and report the incident. This lack of support and indifference from the hotel staff left us feeling unsafe and unappreciated as guests.
Throughout our stay, we found the girl at the front desk to be aloof and unengaged. It seemed as though she couldn't care less about the guests' experiences or concerns. Her disinterest and lack of hospitality further dampened our impression of the hotel's service.
Considering the circumstances, the hotel's high cost was even more disheartening. We had expected a certain level of value and comfort for the price we paid, but instead, we encountered ongoing construction, witnessed a crime, and received subpar service.
Regrettably, we cannot recommend this hotel to others based on our negative encounter.

It’s very organized and clean
Nothing.
4.0 / 5.0
Modern room, everything was clean, nice bathroom.
There was construction in the hotel, which caused breakfast to be in the entryway. The food selections and seating were limited, and staff was not on top of replenishing food items, particularly drinks besides coffee. Although there were containers of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom, only the soap was actually filled. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great.
3.5 / 5.0
Staff were friendly; room, bed and bathroom comfortable; refrigerator and microwave in room; price was reasonable; I was able to leave my case and rucksack in reception after checking out; supermarket within a minute's walking distance
There was refurbishment work going on which meant quite a lot of disruption, such as not being able to use the front entrance or the elevator when I arrived, many workmen moving around with equipment being left on the floor, a lot of dirt on the corridor and in the lobby. Also, the breakfast wasn't too good in quality and choice - though I appreciate it is normal in the US and with this being a fairly mid-budget hotel, I would much prefer not to have so many disposable items (cutlery, plates, cups, food wrapping etc), and also most of the foods on offer were very high in sugar, with few sugar-free options.

On-going construction with noise during the day and forcing breakfast served in the foyer

Was currently under renovations, therefore lack of space.
Parking could be bigger, and a distinct food smell in corridors ( not very pleasant)

Allowed dogs, comfortable room and bed
Rug, wall, and lamp shade were dirty; looked like poo or dried blood (pictures attached).
Soap dispenser kept falling off shower wall
Lobby was being remodeled, so understandably lots of dust and aggregated host. On our second day, the elevator was turned off due to remodel, we were on 3rd floor. Stairwell was construction mess.

the location was close to downtown, and we had tickets to the Flynn
The A/C wasn’t working and it was under construction. The workers were talking and using power tools under our window shortly after 6:30 am.

Room very clean. Hotel paid for taxi to airport.
I left early 4am. Would have liked a yogurt or muffin without asking Night clerk.
Website ad advertised pool , free parking. Not available. Lobby not clean.

The common areas were filthy. The staff weird and unkempt . The room however was clean and comfortable
I guess I already addressed this
2.5 / 5.0
Breakfast was great. Beds were comfy.
TV did not work (all the channels were mixed up) so was unable to watch the Celtics Eastern Conference finals. And front desk could only say that "a call was in to Direct TV." On one of the busiest weekends (UVM graduation), there was construction in the first floor right outside one of our rooms (110). The door did not shut on its own (110). At over $850 for each of 2 rooms for 2 nights, it feels like maybe there should have been a working tv and door, at the very least. Those are NYC prices!!

it’s in a great location
construction stuff in parking lot but I understand they are redoing rooms
3.5 / 5.0
Clean neat, well laid out. Night staff on arrival and at breakfast was very helpful.
Breakfast choices were pretty standard, but we're good and plentiful.
Toilet issues were problematic.
No hand soap or floor mat was annoying.
Downstairs seating was not comfortable.
I was waiting for my ride to take me to training at New England chimney supply every day.
No fruit at breakfast.
These are not major issues, but annoying.
