everyone was super friendly. it was homecoming weekend, so it was busy, but everyone was still happy to help.

there was no regular coffee in the room…only decaf. disappointing but not a deal-breaker.

The front desk staff was friendly.

The shower curtain was not clean and i got very uncomfortable about the room cleanness after seeing it.

Strong smell of food (possibly Indian) being cooked next door entered our room and lingered on our room and the hallway. Very unpleasant. Plus, it turns out there is a vent (not sure it’s purpose) up toward the ceiling that evidently opened directly into next room so we were disturbed by loud talking that was going on.

Location in downtown Lawrence is great. Nice to be able to walk to dinner and pubs. I liked the feel of the place and the room very much.

Not the staff's fault, but the milk was bad, although the date on the carton said good. Everything else was fine, no real complaints. Really this is the only complaint on the stay. A coworker had a omelet that was a bit too "baked in" and hard, but mine was fine.

Did not eat breakfast. Location is great - a few blocks from most downtown attractions. I like the secure parking with room card only access.

Downtown location is good; walkable to everything downtown. Bed was very comfortable.

Housekeeping service was spotty to nonexistant, a real disappointment, particularly since we spent nearly half of our stay standing in the hot sun selling art at the local art fair and would have liked to return to a cleaned room on those days. Directed complaints to staff member on duty; he was dismissive at best. Management response was better, but lukewarm. Aside from that, was surprised that room featured torn carpet and a couch that appeared to have been attacked by a cat (seriously). I've stayed at this hotel several times over the years; it is clearly not the place it used to be. My only previous complaint was that the parking garage is too dark for women traveling alone (it still is). There are at least two other downtown lodging options (not counting a growing number of airbnb's). I recommend you check them out. I generally make around three trips to Lawrence per year. I will not stay here again.

Cancellation policy. Rough toilet paper Room was across from elevator- so wasn’t as quiet as I would like My bed wasn’t made properly- the fitted sheet was not tucked in at the corners

Plenty of parking and close to Mass Street... you can walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also offer good coffee and creamer in the lobby.

We rented a two bedroom suite. I assumed for over $1000, for 4 nights, it would have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps 5. Unfortunately, the suite had only 1 bathrooms. This left us heading to the lobby to use the restroom if someone was in the shower. Also, the water presser was horrible in the shower and the light fixture looked like it has never been cleaned. When checking in we were told on the weekend, there would be a full breakfast. On Saturday the girl did not show up for work so no breakfast and on Sunday the food that was presented did not look eatable. They have a long way to go in the breakfast category. As a family of 5 we try to stay in hotels that offer full breakfast . This saves our family at least $50 to $100 per day depending on where we eat.

The bed was nice and the work space was nice.

I was charged $150 when it said it would only be $120 and it shows $120 on the receipt but my credit card doesn’t reflect that. The “breakfast” was also a poor selection, I thought it would be fresh. Along with this, the guy who checked me in was rude. Lastly, the bathtub stopper wouldn’t go all the way down.
