For 7 years we have enjoyed year round vacations and always stayed at IHG. Unbelieveably IHG beds were hard as a rock as we stayed two nights for $271.99 . Booking.com suggested Quailty Inn at a 40% discount to the IHG price.
WOW - the beds were plush and soft with a firm base and our two nights of bad sleep at IHG were contrasted by a WONDERFUL solid sleep.
When you enjoy the surrounding activities and are active daily the two prime things you want in motel are showers and a great bed. Quality Inn has NEW, fresh interior and IHG has lingered for years.
Quality INN is our new, GO-TO place to stay, IHG is no longer competetive!

The lobby was pretty except for the dead deer heads on the wall. That’s gross.
The breakfast was not very healthy. Too much sugar. Suggestion hard boiled eggs and yogurt would be nice.

Zeer goed hotel als uitvalsbasis voor Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon en Horseshoe Bend. Leuk zwembad om even te relaxen. En super lekker ontbijt. Je kan zelfs je eigen wafeltjes bakken. Koffie 24/24 gratis te krijgen.
Ligt iets verder van het centrum van Kanab waardoor je steeds de auto nodig hebt om naar een restaurant te gaan.

Ruhige Lage, kurze Distanzen zu National Parks/ Canyons. Es gab kostenloses Frühstück. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß.
Das Hotel und die Ausstattung ist schon etwas älter, aber dafür sehr in Ordnung.

Very cold in the basement level, especially with the outside door, blowing open to allow the cold winds to blow in under our door. Cold draft where Heating/AC unit attached to outside wall. Cold draft along the window as well.

Breakfast was good--eggs, sausage and the usual hotel breakfast. Wonderful view from our room. Ask for back of hotel on the left side! Red cliffs in the morning. Right next to the visitor center that has a good film and geology exhibit. Next to that is a great Wendy's/7 eleven and gas station. This hotel is on Hwy 89 the main road that takes you to Zion and Bryce Canyon. Beautiful area. Nice small town.

Hotel has major structural damage. One side of hotel is sinking and our doors wouldn’t even open or lock.

Comfortable beds
A large group of people were in the halls at 4:30 am. They used the breakfast area and were very noisy.

Breakfast was decent and kept well stocked. Room was comfortable and clean. Price and location for an off-season room was good.
The hotel is sinking. It is having a $1.2+ million dollar foundation repair while we were there. The floors are pitched at a 5-10 degree angle. It was a challenge to walk straight down the halls! This is not a fault of the hotel, but of the original builders. They are trying to correct it and should be done in time for high season. There will be a lot of work to fixing the cracked walls due to the foundation repair. Several times during our stay it felt like an earthquake was happening.

There is a decent place to live in Kanab. We went their to attend hot air balloon festival. You can see the balloons flying from their rooms, hardly 3 mins walk from this place.
The building is old but clean. Coffee machine works fine around the clock. Breakfast was amazing.
