The pool was fun. We went on July 4th so it was crowded, but we found a spot to relax and enjoyed the day. Breakfast at claim jumper was good, dinner not so much. I was able to take my dog. Overall we had fun. Ignored the things I disliked about the rooms and was able to enjoy the pool which was the reason why I got a room there. Starbucks in the west tower had a mobile order option, chic fil a was there and open late.
The rooms are outdated. Carpet is not very clean, bathroom has visible water damage and the floors /bathtub were dirty. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the closet. There isn’t a pet relief area, you have to go downstairs to the street and there were homeless people sleeping outside. Starbucks was double the regular price and packed all day after 8am.

The suite bed was comfortable. Breakfast at CJs was excellent. Slot play had its exciting moments. Employees were very accommodating and friendly. Good air circulation as cigarette smoke was minimal.
Bathroom stall had mold growing on the ceiling. Furniture was a little shabby in the Gold Tower suite.

Old school on freemont street so plenty to do
People still smoke everywhere in this hotel 🙈

The elevator I feel if I’m staying in the hotel my key should allow me to go to any floor

Zentrale Lage in Downtown, bequemes Bett, großes Zimmer im Rush Tower, kostenloses Wasser, dicht am Outlet
Ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und unmodern. Pool nicht zugänglich / geschlossen. Keine Steckdosen für USBC/USB. Dusche in der Badewanne. Umgebung gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht wirklich attraktiv

Location was great and convenient. Room a little far from the "action" but that is appreciated on the weekends.
Room smelled like a pool. Was moldy could use updating. Curring back on room cleaning has caused these problems.

Great location on freemont, super value for money in the casino compared to the strip. Poolside tables were very enjoyable, great for beginners

Close to Fremont street and our entertainment. Bed was comfortable.
Had visible rust on our bath tub and a crack in the ceiling by the window. Security Friday and Saturday to get into the elevator checking your key, even though the elevator had you scan to go to your floor. Two full beds rather than queens.

Beautiful place and location. The pool and variety of restaurants are nice. Being on Freemont is also a plus. The rooms are decent but the AC went out on me on the last night.
What I did not like about this place was the staff at the front desk. You would think they would put their best but I ran into the one that will never have me go back to this place again. His name is "JP" and the only reason I got this information was because of his name badge. I asked him to write his name on my receipt so I can speak to a manager he said "I don't have to". He treated me like I knew what he saw on his screen or an expert on using booking.com with the Golden Nugget. I went to the desk to get an additional stay to Monday and he quoted me $169, after I told him I had booked online he canceled it because I could not use a "digital card" even though I had just booked my last 2 nights the same way. He then told me that the only way I would stay was at the new rate of 252.22 plus resort fees and an additional safety deposit even though I had a $50 hold from the previous nights already. After all this and basically making me pay this rate and even speaking with a manager they did not lower it they did not update the housekeeping and had to deal with them trying to tell me that my stay was not extended! My extra day was a disaster even when I had plans of just relaxing I had to deal all morning with this.

The room smelled and house keeping is not seen at all. The plaster from the ceiling was falling into the room . I’ve been in less costing hotels with better rooms. I feel the hotel does the very minimum to save money.
I was not told when booking the room that the pool will be closed for maintenance, which is one of the things I did want to see for the aquarium.
The hotel seems to be trying to cut cost by cutting customer service .

The room was in Rush Tower, supposedly recently renovated. The shower floor was gritty and the drain was slow, so obviously needed to be cleaned. Refrigerator door all dented up. Bedside table had broken laminate. Dusty and dirty. Crumbs on chair at the desk in room.

the bed was comfortable. good location.
we didn’t realize you had to ask to get the room cleaned. we stayed 4 nights. For the price, that was disappointing. our bathroom sink backed up each time someone close used their sink

All the restaurants, how easy it was to get to everything and being a classic
it was kinda loud at night but that was to be expected

Location was great.
The place needs an update badly. Soft beds that sag in the middle, lifted the sheets to see a really old mattress. The entire Carson Tower all the way up to the 21st floor smells like frying chicken from the nasty Chic-fil-a next to the elevators on the lobby level, all the time. Except on Sunday when Chic-fil-a is closed. The restaurants all close really early, by 10:00p at the very latest. Only one restaurant open in the morning and one place to get coffee. Over all very disappointing. Will most likely check out the new hotel across the street next time.
