Pool could of been cleaner and warmer

We walked as fast as we could to get out of this hotel, we opted to not eat breakfast for fear of becoming sick; maily in part due to how we found our room. We only slept the night due to the no cancellation policy. One of the worst hotels ever. We should have been paid to stay there!! A complete waste of money.

The room smelt horrible, like pets & smoke and another smell we couldn't put our finger on. Literally right as we opened the door the smell hit us!! We noticed right away stains on the carpet, broken tiles in the bathroom, popcorn kernals on the floor, cracks on the ceiling and lights that did not work. The pillows (4) were the size of toss pillows that had obviously been over used...thank goodness my husband made me bring my own pillow. As far as blankets; they were nonexsistant unless you consider a see through sheet a blanket. The shower obviously hadn't been cleaned, as there was a used bar of soap on the shower door. Inside the shower there was Pink Mold which is far worse than black mold, matter of fact there was mold inside the toilet bowl as well. We did sleep only due to pure exhaustion, it was a bed in a room with sounds of people running up & down the halls, people puking a few rooms over and others having loud conversations & party like sounds.

Shredded shear curtains, worn hole on the pillow case. Outdated furnishings, stained carpet. The bathroom door would not close properly. The bottom would catch the floor midway, and you would have to pull hard to shut it. We didn't even get the trash emptied, nor clean towels. The rooms were not freshed up daily. We had to get our own towels. $641.oo was really pricey for what we got. I was embarrassed because our grandson was with us. The grounds are in desperate need of TLC.

Breakfast was good. Excellent location.

Very friendly check-in. We were passing through town on our way to Arkansaw to go mountain biking. The hotel was accommodating on allowing us to bring bikes into our room.

For starters, we liked the friendly greeting after a long day of travel. Our room was welcoming, fresh, clean, and so comfortable. Especially the beds and pillows.

I eat low carb and missed not having scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon as there is at most hotels. The boiled eggs were rubbery like a bouncy ball. Did not eat
