The location of the hotel was perfect. It is located in down-town Staunton and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and even next door to the theatre.
Although I confirmed with the hotel that I would be having dinner there on 12/9/23, they failed to tell me there was a private Christmas party booked then and that they would not be serving dinner to guests not attending that party. We had to find a restaurant in the last minute and still make the show we had reservations for. It would have been nice for the kitchen to offer the same food they were providing to the party guests, on a modified menu, for the hotel guests. The room we stayed in (316) was very very small and the TV remote was clearly broken, (literally in pieces). The staff at the front desk gave us a new one that worked fine.

Pool was not clean and very murky. The hot tub was out of order. Pillows were not good at all.

Liked the location, a little out of the way but worth it. Close to restaurants, staff was nice, rooms were nice, nice swimming pool, parking garage although they charge you for it. Common areas clean, coffee 24 hrs, elevator worked well.
Advertised hot tub and it was not working and will be closed.
They should not charge for the parking garage - no where else to park.
