The property is renovated and upgraded. Although a vintage Motel - the original sign promises "Color TV & Direct Dial Phones" - everything is current. The rooms felt spacious. The king bed we had was quite comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator.

I did have to call the property from my cell after arriving on-site to have someone come to the front desk to check-in. Since their is no breakfast option, the front desk didn't open until 11 am - it is not a 24/7 front desk.

The room was really clean, the staff was charming and the price was perfect for us. The room was renewed.

The location was good for all we wanted to see.

We got there about 8:30 pm and the note on the door to call a number, ok we called and he told us where to find our room key and to check in when the office was open. We are both sound asleep at 10pm when the phone rings and they want us to come down and check in?? A single woman at 10pm in a strange town!! I was not very happy. The next night our key would not work.

Everything worked well and the layout of the room was very well thought out. It was obvious the owner and staff wanted your business. Good size refrigerator and large TV with easy to use remote. Very well maintained inside and out. We would absolutely stay again. We spend 15-20 days each year in Hotel/Motels and this place is certainly on our top five list of best park at the door lodging accommodations we have come across.

FYI...the town of Oakley is a few miles off the beaten path so allow 10 minutes each way to get back on the Interstate.

Oakley is a bit off the freeway, so rate seemed a tiny but high. But if in the area, I would stay again for sure.

Everything. Very well maintained nostalgic mom and pops motel in a small, quiet town. Exceptionally clean inside and out, grounds maintained, updated bed that was very plush and comfortable. A/C had a remote. fridge and microwave and updated sink/vanity. Incredibly quiet in a friendly neighborhood.

The sink faucet! It was a spray, not a stream and went everywhere. Bathroom very dated but clean.

Room was nicely renovated, very comfortable and quiet. A welcome bargain in small town western Kansas. I love the convenience of my vehicle right at the door.
