The front desk help was very helpful
It was just a horrible environment to stay . There was a gas leak in the studio room. I was offered another location to stay but first impression are everything. I can’t believe the health department is not involved with how they rate or grade these places where people eat and sleep.

The Manager wanted $200 for a deposit because the month before when i rented a room for three nights there was an overly soiled towel left in the room apparently and that didnt set well with the housekeeper. I found dirty syringes in the kitchen drawer when I checked in NOW THATS SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.!!!! Shame on them turning it around...!!!!! Bad Management !!¡ to say the least..

It was right near the beach (a block away), and that was nice. Easy on and off the main highway (101). The staff were helpful. The TV was large and new (though I n eeded help from staff on how to use it) The price was low compared to other places in Ventura.
This was an old motel, likely built in the 1950s. It is warn and torn, with little done to keep it up to date. T In my room, the bed was comfortable, but tiles were cracked and broken, the bathtub was cracked and chipped, the furniture was old and warn, and this describes the property generally. That said, it served the purpose and was the cheapest Icould find for 2 nights in Ventura.

Close to the beach, many restaurants and artisanal breweries. Staff was helpful. Location was excellent. Beds were comfy.
Do wish they had a better heating system and that the jacuzzi tub was operational.
Television was excellent and had many streaming channels to select from.
Lack of a good heater for the room. Jacuzzi tub not working was a disappointment, but not a deal killer. The bed could have used better pillows and the drawers on the dresser need some work to make them more usable.

Comfortable and was above and beyond helpful. Matt, and Joseph are two. Jennifer made me feel so at home that I have been staying here for four days and have booked TWO more days and may stay a lot longer.

The motel is now renting out to what appears to be transients. Felt very unsafe with my step daughter. They were outside in the wee hours of the morning so also did not sleep well.

The breakfast was very meager. There were (dog?) hairs on the bed linens. The smoke alarm in the room lacked a battery.

I really like the guy at the front desk who checked me in.

Then they went to lay down and rested there body on the comforter that i was supposed to lay on .
I want my money back and noone will respond.

Property was trashy, and a lot of rif-raph people around. Sketcher.. type.. makes it feel unsafe place to stay...

the pictures tell the story. it was horrible start to finish. no heat. so dirty we didn’t even touch the shower. they even tried saying we owed more money, after paying in full before arrival, on check out. thank goodness we had something fun to do in town.

That it was one block from the beach.
This place was horrible. The reviews and pictures are deceiving. I was hoping the outside looked worn because of the sea air, but it got worse once inside the room. The room smelled foul and was just gross. We couldn’t stay. We said sorry to the nice lady that checked us in and left as fast as we could. Do not believe the pictures on here, the place is a dump.

They sending me notification that i’m booked again 3/22-3/23 which i didn’t. need to cancel it

There was a weird commotion from the door next to us. Apparently someone attempted to enter a room that was not theirs. I was woken up around 4 am to telling and other noises. It was really uncomfortable.
It seemed like there was a community living there which made it feel a little bit much.

Repeat visit, awesome location within a block of the beach.
We stayed last year and things have definitely turned for the worst. Half of the customers must be staying with government vouchers. The room on one side had a barking dog with it's yelling human all night. The other side slammed his door all hours of the night. People were smoking in the non-smoking rooms. People were wandering the hallway and parking area all night. No key dropoff box.

the location was cool close to the beach and food
very noisy with people up and out till 4 am lots of drugs and drama with people yelling curse words across the courtyard heard many people shouting about how they just got out of jail and prison that day and it’s time to get fked up as for me I mind my own business and I have very thick skin so it is what it is but for an unsuspecting family could really have some problems
