The night front desk clerk was overly chatty. Woke up early for coffee and he talked non-stop about himself. Never once asked us if we were enjoying our stay at the hotel. Very annoying.

Beautiful hotel and location for a city / town that is more industrial looking than some others on Superior. 1st floor rooms had super tall ceilings. not functional but it sure feels special. great balconies to sit on, fun bar in the hotel, right on the Marina and a walking/biking path the follows the shoreline. The bed was amazing.

no Kleenex in our room (box was empty. Night desk attendant was creepy AF (though pleasant, still made me and other guest uncomfortable, sorry)

Nice hotel on beautiful Lake Superior!

I thought the room was charming, and the building was romantic.

The bed and pillows were lumpy. I'd asked for an accessible room, and I suppose under some definition it was, if you count accessible as having hand rails in the bathroom. The toilet was the low, standard height, and the bowl was small, difficult to use for a person with my physical issues, the tub was hard for me to get in and out of. This is not what I expect in an accessible room.

The breakfast was a nice addition to make the cost a better value

The elevator needs some attention. We were on the 3rd floor and it was like the button was stuck for the 2nd floor. It always stopped there

Gorgeous interior design. loved walking the inside and just enjoying the hardwoods. Classic looking fireplace and nice eating area. Overall amazed with our stay.

Not a thing we didn’t like. Something interesting around every corner!

TV was too small. The remote was hard to use.

Staff at desk when we checked in was totally confused. First she put is in room110 and said my guest had already checked in when in fact he was standing right beside me. She moved some papers around and the took my room key back and gave us room 220 which was suppose yo be a king size bed it wasnt.
