Hey, needed a bed for the night. It was excellent. The manager was away from the counter for a moment so I had an EXCELLENT chat with his German Shepard. He (the dog) wasn't supposed to have his paws on the counter, but he got a good petting anyway, we both enjoyed the conversation.

It was close to town center but away from traffic
Everything was old and tired and worn out. Many things were broken. Staff was less than friendly. Breakfast was a joke. I could hear every sound coming from the room door. No elevator.

Thr breakfast was minimal as the clerk said when we checked in.

We had a view away from the parking lot that was beautiful. I kept expecting to see big game feeding in the distance!
Breakfast was not worth getting up for and I'm not that picky. Cold cereal, packaged, stale pastries as well as stale bread. No protein...I think the yogurt had already been spoken for by 8 am.

It was easy to get to the property
The hotel is pretty run down. The bed was worn and uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good, they only had prepackaged danish, some cereal and oatmeal. There was nothing fresh.

Not the confidential breakfast I expected the hotel at the other end of town has waffles, juice bagels, boiled eggs etc. the room was very clean. rooms need to have microwaves in them.

We spent a night in Leadville before hiking La Plata the next morning. The room was not very big, but it was clean and bed was comfortable. The surrounding was also quiet. The room had a refrigerator and there was a communal microwave in the lobby. Safeway was 3 min walk from the hotel which made it convenient to get supply, otherwise nothing much around.
Breakfast was 6:30am, but we left the hotel way before that. It would have been nice if the hotel could provide a brown bag for us to go.

the continental breakfast , even thought the juice machine was broke
the beds were super uncomfortable. the lady that checked us was was so RUDE.. we are in our 60’s. I asked if we could have first floor rooms, flat no!! would not even to look to see if anything was available. no elevator. she could have told us that our rooms were at the far end and that it would have much easier to access from the rear if the building. the smoke detector was on the floor under the bed.

This place is super clean excellent location on the outskirts of town. Room was super clean and very decently sized. small refrigerator TV table and chairs and queen bed. Bed was pretty broken in. Restroom small yet super clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Price is worth it. Outdated decor but still cute. We felt comfortable and the place was very quiet at night!
Breakfast is mainly cereal toast and coffee one thing they could improve on.

Good location and hotel is quaint. Room was clean and large.
We had to enter through a back door to be close to our room on the second floor and felt a bit unsafe where it was located. No elevator. The lobby doors are locked at 10:00 pm and everyone has to enter through the one back door. Carpets needed to be replaced. Breakfast really lacking, no juice just coffee and water and milk. Only choices was cereal, toast , instant oatmeal and pre-package pastry.

Room could have used a couple extra pillows and blanket for additional comfort.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast selection, but the orange juice machine was unfortunately out of service the 1 morning I was there.
