Everything. Cute little cabin with big personality. Very warm and felt like home as soon as we arrived. The stream out back is the best part. Very close to the outside world, while keeping its independence to nature. We will be coming back over and over again.

We loved our stay at the cottage! The sound of the stream is so peaceful. The views from all the windows and the deck are gorgeous. The house has all you could possibly need. They have thought of lots of little extra details that add a special touch, like night lights where you need them and curtains between the beds upstairs. The hot tub was our favorite thing - we spent the whole weekend in it. We are already trying to plan our next trip here!

The upstairs gets really hot since it’s a mountain home with no AC, but it is July so it’s understandable and they have fans and it cools down quickly at night.

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days or weeks. It sits next to the stream and is about a 7 minute walk to the Sundance resort, where you can eat a great restaurant meal, visit shops, or do other activities depending on the season (plays, films, skiing, mountain biking, zip line). Drive the Alpine Loop to Cascade Springs. Or just sit on the back deck at the house in the hot tub or at the table to chat and watch the stream. Our hosts (Lynn and Pamela) have really thought of everything; they live nearby and take very good care of the place. Lynn came by to help us start a fire (in June!) and show us how to operate the hot tub, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and nice appliances (but no dishwasher); three TVs, 2 DVD players, satellite TV, lots of blankets and comfortable chairs and sofas. We had 10 people staying here comfortably for one night and 6 for the other nights. Plenty of space, but note there is just one bathroom. Pamela was in regular communication by text to see if we needed anything. Very easy to check in and check out. We visited in June and hope to return for another visit!

The outside doesn't look as impressive as some of the pricier cabins, but don't worry; the inside is cozy, spotless, and very well cared for.
