Situated on a very busy corner with constant street traffic, very noisy.

Breakfast every day was delicious! We also loved the location of this B&B, it was central to Lewes, Rehobeth, and Dewey Beach. Our hosts were always ready with a recommendation as well!

The facilities and property were great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional! The pool looked very inviting but it was too chilly (since it was only May) to go in.

The only drawback was the noisy street corner. Many cars use that intersection. However, with the windows closed, it was tolerable.

The breakfast was exceptional. Our breakfast tray was brought to our outdoor table. The place was very clean. Dirty dishes were taken to be cleaned quickly. The coffee, tea and candy were at your fingertips in the breakfast room. Joe and his partner were wonderful hosts.

Because of new developments in the neighborhood, the street could get busy and noisy.

Things we liked about it were quickly soured by the innkeepers behavior.

Worst, most unprofessional customer service we have ever witnessed at a property. The innkeepers ruined the experience here by being rude and lacking any human level of hospitality. You come to a bed & breakfast with the goal of feeling welcomed and relaxed for a little escape from life’s stressors. With their strict bread limit rules on the breakfast order and chatter behind guests backs when they think they can’t be heard, the innkeepers truly set the stage for a stay from hell. The Homestead masquerades as a “dog-friendly” property, but they in no way try to accommodate a couple with a friendly peaceful dog. Don’t even think about trying to share your burnt scrambled eggs and dry bagel with your dog, because the innkeepers will judge you and make fun of you behind closed kitchen doors when they think that the guests are out of earshot. Just want to say, “BUSTED!” Made guests feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we had to check out after one night, of our two night stay. Disgusting treatment of paying guests with their arrogant, hostile behavior. A refund wouldn’t even be enough to help us forgive how poorly we were treated. Hoping we can save others from booking here and having an awful experience themselves.

The breakfast was excellent and the choices were many and varied. The accommodations were great not only for us, but also for our dog. The pool was clean and very refreshing and relaxing. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and personable. The location was so convenient. Overall one of the best vacations we’ve had over the last few years. Highly recommend.

They offer the best breakfast! their french toast was AMAZING! they had complementary beer, I mean what else can we ask :) ... we want to go back for sure!

The breakfast was exceptional. The property is so welcoming of dogs; they have a dog park and dog walk and even a dog shower. Our dog loved it and so did we. Next time we're going to stay in a larger room.

The staff was very accommodating and an absolute pleasure to interact with. The breakfasts they made were absolutely delicious! The house and grounds were very nice.

The location. Constant noisy traffic all hours of the day and night. We live in an adult community and are used to quiet surroundings.
