Como siempre buena opcion para estar en hallandale.
Si bien en las veces que visitamos Beachwalk ya sabemos el problema de ascensores esta vez fue demasiada la espera. En ocasiones esperabamos hasta 15 min para bajar y mas si contamos el paseo por los pisos.
Antes el servicio de playa estaba bajo el Hyde pero lo trasladaron a 400 mts (muy poco recomendable para huespedes mayores) como nos paso; trasladar a una sra de 84 años esa cantidad de mts por la arena. Fue un solo dia y no quiso volver mas.
El apartamento no estaba en su optimo estado, sillas de balcon rotas, techos despintados y manchados por humedad y pequeños detalles como el triturador sin su tapa (un peligro).
Lamentamos que un edificio tan lindo como fue hace unos años este en ese estado.
Son detalles que bajan la calidad y muy facil de resolver.

They never have me fresh sheets to start off with they were dirty and had holes in it I took pictures of everything and sent to them I still have them. I paid 1k for my stay almost 6 nights and I've yet to be reimbursed or resolved. They won't help me and they even admit fault but won't fix anything they did wrong and it was my birthday. It's terrible I need somebody to contact me. They claim though it was their fault they won't reimburse or even try to rebook to make up for my stay. I'm not a tourist. And I live sfl and I'm very upset still this was may 2023. It's now July and I emailed them up to yesterday they still ignore me and just won't reimburse for the service they did not give. It was 98 degrees that whole week they are not professional. I warn you guys do not stay here.

Also there was mold from carpet being wet so it smelled like mildew, the fire alarms were ripped out wall, the cape was wet moldy and stained. The flood alarm for the air Conditioner went off entire stay because water flooded out the bedroom area. The sheets were filthy and never changed they didn't even give fitted sheet. It was just a dirty white sheet tucked under pillows. With holes in it .I'm asthmatic so my allergies were terrible there. The hotel is nice but they will scam you. After I spoke to manager he still blamed me as customer saying the hotel wasn't responsible for broom mop or anything to clean the flooded water that i should buy it though I'm the customer. It's so ridiculous because to this day they still offer no resolution and admit that they were wrong. Ruined my birthday completely. It's Florida memorial weekend so 98 degrees weather without air conditioner. I did valet for my car then god because I sat in it nightly for the ac in the car.

Location was nice. There is a shuttle to the beach. The rooms are great and bed was comfortable. Beautiful view from the balcony.
The wait for the elevator was too long. Host didn't contact us. There was no soap in the bathroom and no extra trash bags.

The view was out standing!
Cleaning: Mold in shower and on patio, cabinet with dirty finger prints( wiped off with soap and water),carpets badly stained, refrigerator freezer needed defrosting. Comforter had stains, ? cleaned between guests?
Maintenance: Sink cracked, patio chair broken, closet broken, leak in water heater , outlet uncovered in hallway.
I literally spent less than $10.00 for Clorox spray and carpet cleaner . Far cry from the $150.00 cleaning fee I paid. I can only assume an absentee owner who would be furious if they new the condition of the unit.

The view was amazing.
The lift took way too long…the room could of been cleaner, mould in bathroom, handle rail must of fell off, they filled back then painted over then put back handle rail, shabby job. The whole apartment needs painting, the table had burn marks, they put a table cloth to disguise it, table cloth sticky had to wipe down. The could of mopped apartment before I arrived. fFor that price should of been immaculate.

The gentleman that greeted us upon arrival was the kindest to my friend and I. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re all from NY but he was extremely helpful when staff was not. Also, the young attendant in the parking garage late at night was very kind to us during our distress to find parking in the lot.
Our room and balcony was not clean when we arrived. A chair on the balcony was broken. The phone was not plugged in to work, the TV did not work also until we told them at the front desk.
I hated the carpet, there were bleach stains and other unknown stains on the carpet as well. Additional trash bags were not supplied so we used the plastic bags from Walmart. I saw a dead bug on the carpet as well.

The pool was out of the Sun by 1 o’clock in the afternoon because it’s on the east side of the building and we were not told we were had to pay for parking until after we booked the vacation not good

The property’s location was great. Convenient shuttle to the beach. Nice pool. My room had a balcony with a nice view, tv, a hidden mini fridge, coffee maker, a nice bathroom, a decent sized closet with iron and ironing board and a safe.
The building has two halves. At check-in they claim one side is for “airbnb” guests and the other for standard “resort” guests; I didn’t notice any differences. Each half has approximately 30 floors, with one pair of elevators each. This made for potentially long waits for the elevators when on higher levels. There’s a restaurant in the building but never seemed to be open during my stay. Packing pricing is ludicrous. Anything less three days of parking results in a higher rate. Anything more than five days results in additional charges.
My check-in was a bit of a hassle. The listing wasn’t clear and I wasn’t aware that this was basically an Airbnb. The owners are Argentinian and have an Argentinian phone number. They communicate primarily via WhatsApp. When checking in, the front desk needed more information from the owners and she used my phone to call them. The owners had been very good at communicating until I arrived at the resort and then I tried for 20 minutes to get them to respond so that I could tell them that the front desk needed to speak with them. After finally getting checked in, I go upstairs.
During my stay, my room (or apartment as it’s listed on the posting) was a bit tiny. There were two, very low to the floor, full sized beds that actually made it seem a bit cramped in the room. One of the beds partially blocked the entry into the room. The latch on the door was broken. One of the closet doors were damaged and swinging freely. There were bleach spots on the carpet, a crack in the sink, the faucet was loud and the sink leaked water quickly. One of the chairs on the balcony was damaged and couldn’t be sat in. The standing lamp was broken and just leaning in the corner. There appeared to be dried blood on the side of one of the beds. The walls were dirty and one of the pieces of art mounted on the wall had to broken glass corners and unfortunately I’ve misplaced the photo of that.

It rained often and we were forced to stay inside, with no entertainment. All the owner had to do was authorize the purchase of a remote control for the television. The telephone didn't work. When I contacted the owner about the television and telephone. She suggested I call maintenance. I was on vacation and didn't feel calling maintenance to get things fixed was my responsibility. When I told her maintenance said a new remote to work the television was needed, and that she needed to authorize a purchase. She responded that she hadn't heard from them. And I never heard from her again.

The view was awesome staff was pleasant and in the beach is walking distance.
There were minor things like comfotyers were stained and that was unpleasant and the the shower faucet kept coming off
