Location only

Apparently, if they don’t list something under amenities, they don’t have it. And apparently, A/C is an amenity. The room was over 90 degrees was supposed to have 2 box fans. Only had one, and it didn’t work until we pulled out the clump of human hair. We checked in late to these conditions, checked out 11 hours later. Was supposed to stay 3 days at timber’s, but we didn’t…. we booked a new hotel for the 2 additional days we would be staying in the area. Timber’s refused to refund us for the 2 days we wouldn’t be using the room due to a/c and door that didn't lock. The manager told us to leave windows open and sliding Glassdoor open. We were on the ground floor, screen door didn’t lock, and we didn’t feel safe leaving windows open on the ground floor that someone could open & crawl through. Not a good experience for us. Booking.com was no help, nor was timber’s about the situation or giving a refund for days unused due to circumstances. We checked into a hotel 0. 3 miles away, that was awesome and had A/C AND GREAT STAFF.

The pool and hot tub were great, when you could get in them. Required reservation due to overcrowding.

Nothing was as pictured or advertised. Couldn't use water due to Ecoli outbreak at resort! No showering, bathing or brushing teeth without bottled water which was NOT provided We rented a cabin as pictured and ended up in a condominium facility on the second floor! Zero air conditioning and even less working wifi! HOW DO I GET MY MONEY REFUNDED?

Sofabed was a joke. Since the staff already knows it's in poor shape, an extra mattress should have been provided ahead of time, not 2 days later.

I loved the location to Yellowstone National Park as well as the quiet location of the resort. The condo was also well stocked and seemed to anticipate all your needs. I also loved being able to sit out on the porch. It was just a very relaxing place to stay.

For the most part there was very little that I didn't like. The only thing that was uncomfortable was that I was unable to open the windows in my bedroom, and there was no overhead fan in the room to circulate the air. In fact one of the windows in the room was actually boarded up, and I wondered if it actually was the one that could have opened had it been fixed. There was also a huge buckle in the floor in front of the bathroom sink that made you feel as if you were standing on a hill. Obviously, there has been some water damage to the floor. So some repairs are needed to the condo, but despite the window and the floor it was still a nice place to stay. Also the pull out bed is very thin and quite uncomfortable; we couldn't even use it. So if you have a bad back this bed is not recommended. However, you can request a foam egg crate from housekeeping to put on it to make it more sleep worthy. And just a few heads-up. There are two N Big Spring Roads off of of Route 20. Coming from the south you do not want the first one but the second one. The correct one has a Chevron Station on the corner of the intersection. From there the resort is very easy to find. Another thing to be aware of is that you'll be charged a $25 resort fee. This is not not included in the price you pay on Booking.com. This is something the resort informs you of after you've made your reservation. So be sure to tally that into your costs when making your reservation.
