This is a spectacular Inn and the ideal location of Newport (Bellevue ... just blocks to the water-front and a quick drive to the mansions). The 4-6 PM wine and charcuterie was a welcome surprise just after check-in.... the room was large with a private deck, sitting area, steam shower, and whirpool bath ... and the accommodations were all 5-star. The breakfast was also incredible and plentiful. Thank you, Hydrangea!!
I don't believe they could improve on anything. Stellar inn -- and I am an Innkeeper myself who knows what it takes to spoil your guests!

Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Room was a bit small but we weren’t planning on spending much time there so it was fine. Breakfasts and chocolate chip cookies at night were wonderful. Wine and cheese was a nice afternoon treat.
Well located for access to mansions, shopping or just walking around.
Room was very warm until we figured out how to cool it down. No other issues.

This is a very special inn. Gorgeous room with all amenities and exquisite period furnishings. Staff was exceptional. Location was perfect.
We were disappointed in the breakfast. Given the price of this Inn, we were expecting something really special, but it was perhaps only marginally better than the breakfast one experiences at a budget motel (although the dining room was very nice). How difficult would it be to set out a breakfast, in the style of some European hotels, with made-to-order omelettes, lox, herring and other fish, sausage as well as a small offering of cheeses and fruits?

The garden room had a lot of space and the bed was extremely comfortable! It was in a great location as well!
