The room is very spacious and airy. Simply furnished but comfortable and more than adequate. A private shower and toilet is definitely a plus point. Having a parking space at the accommodation was wonderful. The host was relaxed, natural, friendly, and happily offered advice in response to any questions we had.

A kettle in the room would definitely have been appreciated. Not only for that all essential first cup of coffee in the morning but also to boil water to fill the thermos flasks for the long drive home.

Complicated TV did not work for us once we turned it off when we left. Bed was hard.

Spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. There is a cracking Italian restaurant a short walk from the room. The owner was very welcoming on arrival, but we didn’t see him again.

It’s not made clear on booking.com that this is simply a room in somebody’s house with a shower room across the hallway from the room. A bit pricey for what you get, we often pay less in a hotel and get breakfast included!

The area was very peaceful and the room was very spacious, pretty and bright. The host was very friendly. He prepared a cute breakfast for me the last day of my stay (unfortunately it wasn’t vegan so I didn’t eat it) and he let me check a couple hours later.

One window didn’t have a cover, curtain, so there wasn’t much privacy. There was dust in the wardrobe which I only noticed on my clothes when I was taking them out. The mattress was quite hard and the wifi didn’t allow to have WhatsApp calls. It wasn’t stable at all. It would also make sense for this price to have a kettle in this room and a few tea bags as there’s no breakfast included and the house is 40min walk from the centre.
