Very clean and friendly. The owner and his wife were very personable, they cleaned and maintained the property by themselves, but were happy to stop and talk when they saw you. We loved the heated pool. Perfect location for a trip to this area. My wife loved the soft fluffy towels.Nothing

Bright lights near entrance door cause mosquitoes to come into room when you open the door to get into your room.

Very friendly owners, excellent location, warm outdoor pool. Quiet and peaceful.

The only thing I’d change is maybe provide a rack to dry towels in each room.

IT WAS FINE BUT ---- THE MOST EXPENSIVE PLACE WE STAYED DURING OUR 7 DAY TRIP. NOT FAIR TO COMPARE A 1950'S STYLE HOTEL TO A 5 STAR BED AND BREAKFAST BUT A LOT OF MONEY FOR A SIMPLE ROOM

Very clean! Requested a quiet room and they delivered. Very accommodating & friendly. The pool was extremely clean. Well maintained property.

It would be great if the hotel can clean the hairdryer's vent. The AC was a bit too loud.

loud pipes clanking in the middle of the night. the manager blamed it on how guests would turn on the water, but we think if the pipes are installed properly, they shouldn’t make such alarming noise.

our room was in the back of the hotel so it was much more quiet than rooms closer to rt 1. the location is wonderful, quick walk to the beach

room needed a good deep cleaning. I wore shower shoes because the tub looked dirty.

Helpful staff at check-in provided local knowledge and was welcoming. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed for our overnight stay.

The walls are pretty thin, so our neighbor's sounds were a bit intrusive in our room.

This is one of the cleanest, most updated hotels in Wells. I have stayed here almost every year when visiting Maine and it has never disappointed. The people who own/run the place are friendly and make you feel right at home. The location is wonderful. The beach is just about 1/2 mile down the road right outside your door and Hannaford, Renys and several really great restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. During the summer the pool is always clean and sparkling. A nice way to relax after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Love this place!

This place was exceptionally clean, the king size bed had a new mattress that slept great, and was a well equipped room with a frig & microwave, direct TV.

The bathroom is small but very clean. You can hear the street traffic outside.

Room was very clean. Bathroom was clean, fresh towels were provided. Beds were comfortable as well.

The metal frame around the bed was a bit annoying, kept making noise with movement.

clean,comfortable, and convenient for what we were in the area for. friendly staff, plenty of off road parking. Walk to beach iffy since the road to be used had no shoulders. But it was close enough for a quick ride there. More than half mile that was advertised.
