It’s location was great.

The mattresses were horrible. No information given to you upon arrival for wifi connection. Lack of staff especially after 8:00pm. Message on office window indicates you can call the number and someone would come in 15 mins. Someone should be there in case of emergency. No phones in the rooms or instructions in case of emergency. Room was extremely dusty and at times hard to breathe. Not adequate towels upon arrival. Old comforters/bedspreads on beds. Furniture was banged up. Horribly overpriced!!! Would never recommend nor stay there again!

Being on the first floor, noisy during the night and in the morning because of people walking in the room above us. Next time , we will try to get a room on the upper levels.

Location was super close to the beach, within walking distance to all activities and I was so pleased how easily accessible everything was!!!

Beds were not comfortable and the ac was too small, motel could use an upgrade....but it was good for one night stay....would stay again but would like to see booking.com secure more motels in that area. They would be scooped up instantly.

one of the beds was sagging very badly and we had to have them come wash our floors when we got because they were extremely dirty.. made our feet / socks black.. there was someone in the room above us that stomped back and forth day and night making impossible to get any rest..

the beds were to hard for our backs but everything else was perfect.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel but it was sufficient for what we needed. It's situated across the street from the beach and 1 mile from the pier so it is a good location. We never used the pool or any other ammenities so I cannot comment on those things. The room was good and it was pretty clean so I had no issues with my stay at this hotel.

When checking out which is at 10am (early) but I think it is standard for this area I asked the owner if I could leave my car parked there for a few hours, while I understand he has new guests arriving (check-in 3-4pm ) he was kind of rude about it. Ultimately he said I could park there til noon which I appreciated but thought he could've just been nicer about it seeing as other guests had 2 cars per room and I only had 1, again he did say we could leave it there until noon though. We ended up paying for a day pass at another hotel nearby just because he didn't seem like he wanted us to stay there. Again I understand he has new quests coming but I'm sure not everyone was checking in early and he could've called at any time we were just going to the beach across the street so could've come back for the car at any point he needed the space. A day or 2 after we checked out I realized I had left an expensive pair of binoculars at the hotel (totally my fault) I called the hotel a couple times with no answer so I left a message, no call back from my message so I called again the following day and they answered, I explained my situation and the man that answered the phone said the cleaners had gone home for the day so he would have them check the following day and give me a call. I told him exactly where to find the binoculars if they were still there. I knew there was a good chance that they would be gone but i figured what did I have to lose by asking them to look, I never received a call back and honestly I wasn't surprised by this. Ultimately this was not a bad place to stay I was just put off by the unfriendliness and the lack of customer service on a return phone call. It is a small place and I beleive the owner lives in the house on the property so I would just expect a little better customer service.

The location was great, very close to the beach and only a 20min walk to the Pier and Main Street. Even though it is old and could use a little renos, it was always clean. It was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms and a full fridge in the cottage. We didn’t use the pool but it was clean and quiet most days.

Cottage is supposed to be able to accommodate 2-7 persons but there definitely wasn’t enough dishes and cutlery to accommodate even 4 persons. We had only 1 decent coffee cup, 3 plates and not even 4 forks or spoons. Also, if you open up the sofa bed you loose most of the living room space so don’t plan on using that room to store all your stuff. I would say that the cottage is definitely more a 2-4 persons accommodation, or suitable for a family of up to 5 persons.
