Prachtige slaapkamer met gigantisch balkon dat uitkeek op de oudste kroeg van Amerika en Bourbonstreet. Qua drukte perfect gelegen. Net buiten het schreeuwerige gedeelte. Veilig gelegen.

This was a great location. It's at one end of Bourbon St. so It's close but not to close to the action! Laffite has great charm and a Wonderfull staff to match!

noise level in our room, tiny tiny bathroom
We chose to stay in a balcony room which happened to be directly over the piano bar. I’m not a night owl so would attempt to turn in early only to hear the piano as if it were in my room until midnight. Others in our party in different parts of the hotel did not have the same experience so next time I’ll just get a different room type.
The bathrooms are tiny, they are definitely not meant for people of size

Bed was fantastic. Fan in the room for white noise was a bonus. I am a light sleeper and often struggle in any hotel to sleep well. No problem here, even with bar across the street.
Could use a bit more horizontal space for toiletries in the bathroom. The building is old, which I appreciate. Therefore plumbing is old, so tub drains a little slow in the shower.

It really is in a great location if you want to be close to the action on Bourbon street and decently close to Frenchman street.
I am not sure that I have ever written a hotel review before, but I felt I had to for this one as I checked out a night early due to the conditions of this room. While this was my first time experiencing a cockroach in my hotel room, it was the response of the hotel about it that was startling to me. Within five minutes of checking into the room I saw a cockroach in the shower and the hotel’s response was essentially that this is a common occurrence, this should be expected, and I am being a pain by requesting them to remove the cockroach. The cockroach issue aside, the room itself was not in great condition with large holes near the bed and a stained pillow case to name a couple items.

we love the fact that it was old and antiquated, but yet kept as it was should’ve been back in the 1800s and the history but
Outside courtyard chairs could use replacing

Location was great....walk to anything in just a few minutes. Room was gorgeous with private balcony overlooking bourbon street. Stayed in haunted room 21. Bed huge and comfortable. Beautiful fireplace mantle...14 ft ceilings..8 ft doors and windows..Quiet for the most part and we turned the fan on for white noise and never heard the bar next door after that.
The bathroom really is tiny. REALLY TINY LOL. but it didn't matter really. It's an old building and was a much later addition to the original room. It was hilarious and quirky. Does need a couple things like touch up paint and small repairs but nothing crazy.

Location was excellent staff very accommodating and pleasant
Time of year was very cold. Cooler is also the heater. Cleaned the filter myself in hopes of heating the room

Here I can be brief as there was little that we liked. Only the location was fine for us. We came for Mardi Gras and then there is no better place to stay than in the middle of Bourbon Street.
Almost everything. We (couple 50+) booked a 37m2 (400 feet) room for $3,400, and got one of about 20m2 (250feet). In which absolutely everything was wrong. For instance, there were only net curtains, no over-curtains. We found a few plastic cups, no single glass. In the shower there was black mould on the joints of the tiles. Next to the toilet bowl was a plunger, which also did not bode well. There was 3 years of dust on the switches and an unrecognisable dead insect in the washbasin cabinet. Presumably a cockroach that had been dead for four years. We booked a large room because of the long duration (10 nights) of our stay and found as much as one kind of kitchen chair. With rancid defective upholstery. The whole interior reminded us of a thrift shop rather than a hotel. The manager -talked to this- would show us other rooms after carnival (the hotel was full). The only one available turned out to be a shabby little flat in an annex across the street with an impossible outside staircase as access which, of course, we did not agree to. Through the receptionist, the manager offered to refund the rest of our stay if we left before 1 pm. We couldn't agree to that either because the remaining days (after Mardi Gras) were by far the cheapest. We felt cheated. It is definitely not a hotel but a bar with rooms. No breakfast available, no assistance in lugging suitcases. A rancid mess. We have been visiting New Orleans annually for almost 20 years, but this is our 'by a mile' worst experience. The pictures speak volumes.

location was amazing. perfect for bourbon and French quarter, and esplanade. staff was extremely helpful and professional. Bar amazing.
Poor Layout, HVAC was window units only. bathroom was too small in 25. was not expecting to have to pay for parking on top of room fee.

This is a charming, historic building on the quiet end of Bourbon Street with a nice bar and lounge on the first floor. Walking distance to everything.
The room was very small and in bad repair. Black mold on the grout in the bathroom, no heat (it got cold during my stay), a partially repaired window, unreliable wifi. Broken mini-fridge.

Can’t say much bad about it

The location is amazing.
For the price you pay there should be hot water in the bathroom and water running in the bathroom sink. Also no one comes to get your trash. Or bring fresh towels. No money back after 5 days of no hot water. Will not stay again.

our room was on the 2nd floor. UNAWARE of the live music underneath our room.the front desk did not warn us about how loud it would be or that there would be live music in the bar. i asked if we could move rooms, the lady behind the desk said no. I had to go downstairs at 12 and said this is ridiculous! we need sleep!
the music finally stopped at 12:15AM.
we only stayed one night as we were driving from Florida to Denver. we needed to get a good nights sleep which did not happen!!!!😡
