I booked a stay in Copper Mountain via Booking.com, then was notified via email that RedAwning would handle the rental with info on accessing the unit to be sent in future. Then received email that Bighorn Rentals were involved a week before our stay ( no possibility of cancelling at this point). I was then informed, that I would need to pick up the keys in another town, Frisco ( and drop off). I was also informed that my stay at a unit that could sleep 6 had one parking space and offsite parking would be required for a second car. I understand this might be Copper Mountains policy but some disclosure would be nice. When I picked up the keys a rude Covid paranoid person opened the door 4 inches and slipped out an envelope with the keys and instructed me to write down my credit card number and drop it in a box on a table outside the office door where anyone could walk by and access. Then while moving in for our stay one of the keys did not work and the other key was left inside the unit during move in so we were left standing in the hallway without anything , I tried to call Bighorn with another renters phone to no avail, then I called RedAwning - they had no record of my stay, luckily we ran into another renter in the parking garage as we were about to drive back to Frisco ( via the good will of yet another renter since our car keys were in the room) who informed us that holding the key next to the card reader for 30 second would "reset" the card, which did work. Not a good experience.
