The location is nestled in a cute neighborhood and is a calmer pace compared to Siem Reap, which I prefer! The facilities are well maintained with an antique vibe. The staff is lovely and made our experience so much more special.

I loved the environmentally friendly property and the elements of nature that are intertwined throughout the space. The massage service was an experience within itself. it was right along the pond and was such a relaxing and beautiful service.

The setting of the hotel is very beautiful and some of the interior architecture is stunning. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good. Transport was also readily provided which was helpful given we needed to travel into the city center for several events. We asked for an extra mattress topper based on previous reviews which no doubt improved the bed comfort so it was fine.

Given the timing of our visit ( it is the very hot season ) at times it was a little unpleasant eating outdoors with just fans. Our room also struggled to stay cool during the day. Unfortunately the pool water was quite hot by the middle of the day so it was less refreshing than one would hope.

Staying at Maison Wat Kor is like being in a small paradise. The location is slightly remote from the city in a green location full of trees, bushes, and a pond all providing an harmonious place to spend a few days. The staff is super nice and helpful providing tips and tricks for the stay (what to see, what to do). The rooms are well built and equipped in this little paradise. It is definitely a place to stay when traveling through Battambang.

Location, lotus pond, amazing atmosphere

Kim&Sophia&the rest of the staff were very hospitable and kind to chat to. The food both Khmer and Western food was very delicious at the hotel. The rooms are spacious and in traditional khmer style while the hotel grounds are lush and beautifully lit at night. Battambang is a place to go to get a real Cambodian experience. Perfect place to walk around in the villages and experience the beautiful hearted locals and feel the harmony of the land.

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights here. The resort is set in a village on the outskirts of the city and feels semi rural. The rooms are lovely and designed to mimic traditional houses - but with wonderfully comfortable beds and glorious fabrics. The days have followed a relaxing pattern. You awake as dawn clears to the sounds of the birds, and distant local music or village life. Breakfast is a feast. Then off to do what ever had been organised. One of the greatest strengths of MWK is the owner Kim. He will organise everything with a smile and his depth of local knowledge. For us the heigh point was a trip to Banteay Chhmar. Back in time for a swim in the pool, before dinner. A daily changing 4 course menu of Cambodian food is one option. This is a lovely resort. Made truly superb by the staff. Always smiling, friendly, and eager to help. Very much recommended.

The staff is very respectful and friendly. The garden and pool are great.

The price is very high for the minimal facilities. It can be very loud at night when weddings are happening in the neightbor hood.

We loved the peace and tranquility of the hotel and meeting its amazing owner Kim and his lovely wife Sopia - who couldn't have done more more to make our stay enjoyable. Their tuk tuk driver Dan also was a delight escorting us around Battambang for the day. And the food was delicious - all conceived and overseen by Kim who has a real passion for cooking, which he learned at a young age apparently.

Madison’s Wat Kor was a perfect little sanctuary for us. All the plants, trees, and chirping birds was so helpful in our quest for quiet & relaxation. The management & team went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. The food was always delicious and well presented. We were also able to take advantage of spa services right in the little cabana on the property which was a perfect way to end each day.

Beautiful location very serene Room spacious clean and comfortable shower produce lovely hot water gardens snd surrounding area beautiful staff very lovely so helpful and judy beautiful people felt at home. althea little out of the town we had Den the Tutt driver on standbys to get us wherever we wanted to go. restaurant at hotel great but also great places in the city. breakfast excelled with great coffee can’t recommend it enough as a place to stay

A very warm welcome from the friendly and hospitable team, a beautiful environment and a comfortable room with a very large bed. Our view from the balcony over the pond, with its bright pink waterlilies in bloom, was lovely. We felt very much at home throughout our stay. The food was excellent, as were the coffee and the cocktails, and the location was a short tuktuk ride from town. It made our stay in Battambang a real pleasure.

The location and architecture are great. It is a beautiful place with really spacious and comfy rooms and a pretty restaurant spot near the water. The owners and the staff are super friendly and help you out when needed.

Bad luck with wedding or celebration next doors that kept us up late and woke us early in the morning but the hotel foresees earplugs to help you out.

The staff is very welcoming, kind and helpful. The decor is natural and beautiful. We loved the view over the lily pond, especially in the evening. Our room was lovely, spacious and quite clean. Great shower! We liked the chairs on the balcony and sitting areas around the property. Coffee and tea are always available and included. The breakfast was delicious and generous.The dinner was also delicious though portions were small. This is such a lovely and relaxing place to stay, so comfortable and beautiful. We loved our tour of the countryside too!

The pool area furniture was in need of update. The set menu for dinner portions were small.

Maisons Wat Kor is a little oasis in a busy city. It is so peaceful and relaxing and we were sad to go. It is very authentic and lovingly cared for. We felt welcome from the first minute.
