The property was very welcoming and clean. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch. If I was asked for feedback it would be that we felt it lacked the following:- Stotage in Bathroom maybe a few shelves or a bathroom cabinet. A smart TV Personally found the bed very uncomfortable. The view and location was stunning lovely getaway for family time.

We had a lovely weekend break in Poole Quay, the cottage was just perfect. Lovely and cosy, beautifully clean, comfortable beds and superb location, couldn't ask for any more. Excellent communication from the owner who called to reassure that all was well given the recent storms. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family and hopefully will return again soon.

Great location! As the information states, a stones throw from the sea! Fantastic views from the bedroom window and footpath that leads along the seafront in both directions. The downside is that everyone else is using the footpath at all times of the day and night, including motorbikes racing each other in the early hours whilst we stayed and if you are a light sleeper who likes the window open, unfortunately like me, you will have disturbed nights. That said, what a great location!!!! The cottage could use some TLC and certainly could have been cleaner. We had to wash up and wipe out some cupboards before being able to use some and cutlery and sweep up the floor a couple of times because of flaking paint. There is also definitely room in the bathroom for a separate shower cubicle rather than having to climb into a bath which would make a huge difference. However, the location outweighs any negatives and it’s a great place to stay. A good size garden that is well enclosed for children and dogs. Thank you 😊

This was our second visit to this property and it was just as good the second time as the first. A lovely house in the perfect location Everything you could want, a short walk into Poole and only a few minutes drive from Sandbanks beach.

Two couples returning to Poole where they met 60 years ago wanted a cottage near to the busy Quay but quiet with harbour views. This was absolutely ideal. A pretty garden literally a stones throw from the water, parking for two cars but in easy walking distance of pubs ,restaurants and shops. Accommodation was excellent for 4 adults

The house is situated perfectly between Baiter park and all that the town centre and the Quay has to offer. Poole is a great place to visit, we’ve stayed in other locations and this house was a great find and we hope to return soon. Easy to find, parking off street, clean and with everything you need supplied as well as great views of the harbour from all rooms. Only a few minutes in the car to water sports centres and the beach at Sandbanks.

The house had everything you could need. A lovely garden well equipped for sitting out to watch the boats and the sea. Sea view from front and back. A perfect location for the beach and the town quay, restaurants, shops etc We really enjoyed our stay.

We came over for a week from Canada and could not have landed a better spot than this cottage. The place itself had everything we needed, was well kitted out for kids and dogs, and the backyard was perfect for playing and watching the boats come in. The location is ideal for easily getting to Poole Park or to the Quay, which we walked every day. Great holiday spot and highly recommend!

There was a small glitch when the cleaners hadn’t been told new guests were arriving but they came promptly and were friendly and efficient. The views and the nearby walking path to Poole Quay are a definite asset to this cottage.

Property in good location. Very clean and a nice welcoming pack. Our only criticism would be furniture too big for the main bedroom and makes it very difficult to get safely around the bed.

We had a lovely stay here, with our dog. The harbour walk was literally on the doorstep. Bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away and the added bonus of watching the harbour fireworks from the back door.

Literally a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge with fantastic views from both the front and rear of the property overlooking Poole Harbour. All amenities are within an easy 5 minute walk away and nearly all are dog friendly including many of the restaurants, so no more sitting outside in the cold to eat. Can't wait to go back and explore some more so highly recommend a stay here for a few days or a week, you won’t be disappointed.

Ideal rental for access to Poole Quay and its many facilities. Well furnished with all necessities and good parking. Pleasant neighbours and superb view. The goodies provided were very well received when arriving late off the ferry! Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location. Near to sea, beaches and shop. Comfortable with an excellent view and a comfortable sunny patio in a pretty well tended garden. I loved it and will go again.

What a lovely house and location is absolutely perfect, parked the car and spent most of the week on foot. Main Quayside just minutes away by foot and main shopping only 10 minutes. The view from the garden looks over the harbour, everything is in the house that you need for a comfortable stay, house was very clean on arrival, owner left on the side board a welcoming pack, which was a lovely gesture. If you want to enjoy this part of Dorset, this is a great place to stay.

I am hesitant to leave a review as I don't want too many people finding out about this absolute hidden gem of a property! It was conveniently located next to the town centre! We drove down from Preston but were able to walk everywhere as everything was close by. There's a Tesco Express that is a 3 min walk in case of emergencies and the mall was also close by. Loads of restaurants right on your doorstep! We brought our Labrador with us and there is a field right on the water that is conveniently 3 minutes away as well. The front door is a bit tricky as you have to pull it up for it to properly close and we had a bit of an accident where my mother thought she closed the door but forgot to pull it up and the door swung open and the dog ran out into the street. That is the only thing I would say needs looking into but other than that everything was absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cottage by the sea in Poole! The main bedroom has a beautiful view of the ocean and the wifi worked fantastically. My husband forgot his cross-chain necklace which I bought him as a birthday gift and Andy was kind enough to send it to us through the post. If we needed to get in touch, he would always respond promptly. The home is located at the end of the street with only one quiet neighbour to your right. Honestly could not be happier with the location. It was clean and most importantly, there were NO spiders (I have a huge fear of them). Absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back. The home has a nice beach decor feel to it and the main bedroom has a closet/cupboard which fits all of my clothes and makeup making it easy to keep the room nice and tidy.
