We booked the room at a very short notice, literally 10 minutes before checking in. Everything was great, an extra bed for our child was added in just a few minutes and we could enjoy our stay in Engelberg.

I had a few questions before our arrival at the hotel and received the answers from Adrian promptly. It was very warm and cozy in the rooms we booked. It is a great benefit that it is possible to manually adjust the temperature of the radiator in the rooms we booked. We turned the heating off for the night. Loved the tables during the breakfast reserved for the quests with their names on them :). Lady who assisted during the breakfast was so nice and polite, I asked her a few times for a few cups of espresso. It was so convenient we could purchase Titlis ski passes directly at the reception in the hotel. Prices are the same as at the Titlis tickets desk or via the Titlis website. We got our cards at the reception too, it saved us time standing in the queue at the Titlis ticket desk. Brilliant customer service. Very welcoming atmosphere, thank you so much Adrian, Sascha, and all the team! We arrived to Engelgerg by train. Very comfortable 2.45 h journey. The views were breathtaking. Engelberg is a very convenient location. While we had our fittings of shoes and snowboards in the Intersport rent Titlis, the weather changed dramatically, mist, fog, or clouds, and in ten minutes clear skies again. The landscape changes very fast. Our hotel was so close to the train station. We found everything so close by in walking proximity. The lockers for rent at the train station were very handy, we needed to store our backpacks the ones we did not carry to Titlis on our departure day from the hotel. We could though leave them at the Hotel Echweizerhof, Adrian was so kind to look after them. It was an extraordinary experience, we can't wait to go back and explore more.

Wonderfully cozy hotel, excellent service from all team members, superb location, nice breakfast with fresh eggs and good selection of cheeses-muesli was delicious. Easy walk to catch the ski bus and many restaurants. The Indian restaurant next door was excellent. Free parking and easy access ski storage room was great!

Everything is almost perfect, including large and free parking space.

Should have told us that there was an undergoing renovation. It was not a big problem but it came as a bit surprise.

Great central location to downtown; friendly staff; clean rooms; comfortable bedding; wonderful breakfast!

The ONLY negative we had a large group of school aged kids whose parents could care less that they ran up and down the halls and were loud past 10P at night. I know the hotel cannot control who’s on your floor.

We had a clean and comfortable room which was an excellent size and had a fantastic shower. It was a perfect location for the cablecar up to Mt Titlus. The breakfast was really tasty and had plenty to choose from.

We would have liked tea/coffee facilities in our room.

We had a balcony view room and the view was beautiful. Room was also spacious and nicely updated. Location of hotel is very good.

The front desk person was very nice, but the breakfast room attendant was very unpleasant. We came in at 8:04 and there were a lot of tables empty, but she brought us to a table next to windows, but not in front of windows, so we had a wall to our side. We asked if we could move to the table next to it, which had a nice window view and she noticeably sighed and looked irritated and said that was reserved at 9:00 am that day. She ended up letting us sit there and we were out of there by 8:25. She did smile as we left, but how irritated she visibly was left us with a bad feeling through breakfast. Another thing which may be normal but I haven't come across it before -- if you don't pay for full board in advance, you can't eat dinner in the restaurant. We had no idea and there are very few restaurants in Engelberg this time of year so we ended up going to the market and bringing food back to our room.
