Excellent hotel & location, ski in ski out. Lovely areas to sit around the bar/reception. Excellent breakfast.

A little confusing re bus system to get to the hotel - public & free bus from hotel - do check the timings, there is a later bus from Voss train station on a Friday but not other days of the week. No where to buy any provisions if you want anything other than food from their own restaurants. Nearest shops in Voss which is 30/40 minutes away. A good supermarket style shop would be nice.

Location was fantastic! At the bottom of the slopes steped out of my skis and into the hotel just like in the alps. The hotel provided a free ski locker which was great. The staff also matched the location, they were always on hand and very helpful. Really enjoyed the area and this little ski slope :) Also ski hire and tour guides close by

Unlike the alps this resort was quite small and limited once off the slopes. There was a bar in the hotel and another opposite the hotel but Norway is expensive when it comes to extra curricula activities but that isn't the hotels fault. The hotel did miss out not having a spa or gym and the food options were limited with no room service

Top location and easy to get there by bus (from Voss) . Modern and very clean hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast. Delicious pizza.

Only a suggestion: a swimming pool or a hot tub and a sauna would make it complete :-)

kind, friendly and helpful receptionist. free parking on premises, hotel is well designed. lovely view from the room. very quiet.

breakfast was mediocre, not many options, and some food was served cold and not fresh. hand soap wasn't filled, one of the towel's seemed to be a bit dirty

Location is very good if en route from Flam/Gudvangen after a fjord cruise and Balestrand and locations north or east

Location was the best part about this hotel Room size with balcony was good enough for the stay Staff in the kitchen was helpful There were some attractions for the kids around the hotel We got some nice suggestions regarding places to explore by stuff working in near by facility

This place is not clean and they really need to raise their cleanliness standards No iron and iron board in the room Not much options to eat even in breakfast. Some items served during breakfast were not fresh. No water bottles in the room for guests No Fridge or mini bar for snacks in the room No slippers No bathrobe No shoe cleaning kit I expected all these things specially high cleaning standards because the amount paid was around 1400 NOK / night. This definitely calls for much better standard.

Small details that add up to the image of a hotel built entirely for profit at the expense of "one-off" guests: staff not particularly nice, poor quality and variety breakfast for a theoretically 4* hotel, no fridge in room, room thermostat was decorative (you can set it to a desired temperature but after a few minutes it gets reset to 20 or 21 degree), expensive restaurant with mediocre quality (let's say this was not a surprise), the entire area around the hotel is under construction, there are "hiking trails" advertised in the room booklet but, partly due to the construction site, they are very difficult to follow (or even impossible). Oh, almost forgot: there's definitely something fishy going on with the water supply; the "cold" water at the faucet in the room was warm (really warm, not lukewarm) and even if you let it running for a few minutes it doesn't get cold; mind you, I didn't just confuse the signs on the faucet, the "hot" water was indeed "hot". Thus, I think the water is also not safe for drinking (although not stated anywhere).
