All of the staff were so kind and helpful! My Spanish is limited but we were able to make everything work. Our room was clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast and coffee each morning, and located minutes from downtown, shopping and restaurants.

Secluded. Rooms are off a courtyard which is shaded and cool. Great rooms with tasteful period furniture and air conditioning. Great Wifi. Super helpful staff. Was very comfortable here and reluctant to leave.

the house was lovely and had a lot of history - beautifully appointed with family antiques and furniture
the fact that the house was on a busy street and the parking was very tough - there should be a big sign in front

This is a small beautiful hotel. So much better than the Movich I stayed at last time which is old impersonal and more expensive. My room was large and quiet
I recommend paying a little more to avoid the rooms that open directly to the breakfast courtyard

We were met with a nice welcoming smile from Juan, who took care of us from start to finish. Very attentive and polite.
We loved the old colonial feel to the place, particularly as this was balanced by the highest cleaning practices.
The hot water tap in our room wasn’t working.
Apart from that all was good.

the rooms were not well equipped, our fan didn’t work, no night table on one side of the bed so I had to put my phone on the floor.

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very satisfying and filling.
Not really a dislike but when taking a shower you have to run the water for a really long time before hot water starts coming out.

Totally recommend, best price / service deal I have been found in a long time.
Staff was really kind, te breakfast was simple but delicious and the coffee was really good (and I’m very picky on that).

The hotel is a beautiful older home. Many antiques. The Staff is amazing and keen attention. Stephen is the best. Love the Don Alfonso
