Lovely house, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, quiet location, handy for railway stations and shops. Slight problem with key safe when arriving ,but contacted Tim and quickly sorted. Would definitely come again .

Very central location ten min walk to beach 2 mins to town centre and Lovely new shopping centre with cinema in it. House is small but perfectly formed for a holiday rental for family of 4. Nicely decorated beach theme again adding to holiday feeling. Handy having a garage. Our car wouldn’t fit width wise as quite big but smaller car would fit fine. We had a pass to park on the road and managed most of the week right outside. Only once had to park on next street. Tim was in touch throughout great contact. Would happily stay here again.

Very impressed with quality, cleanliness and location of the Wendy house. The kitchen was quite compact but very well equipped and met our needs perfectly. Beds were very comfortable.with spare bedding available should it be required. The shower worked well and there was a plentiful supply of hot water as required. The property was ideally located for the railway station and town centre so a car would not be necessary. A garage was available but we decide for ease to park in the street. This proved to be non problematic.

Beautifully presented cottage, with all the essentials, and more, included. Wendy House was very welcoming and allowed our family, of two adults and two 7 year olds, to enjoy a comfortable time at a home away from home.

An excellent courtyard property, private, quiet, convenient location for town centre shopping, the seafront and local amenities. Will definetely book again.

When we go to a holiday rental property we normally take things like salt, pepper, soap etc to save purchasing it locally. But Wendy House came fully provisioned with everything needed - no need to take anything. Plus, it was super clean, had all the equipment you could think of and was very well decorated. Couldn't ask for more - excellent! Great comms from the owners too.

It was lovely to arrive at this clean, beautifully decorated home from home. We loved the simple colour scheme and every detail and was thought of. The accommodation really enhanced our stay in East borne and gave us the comfortable break we had been looking forward to.

From the beginning Tim was very helpful, we could ask him everything. The appartement was so lovely, we had everthing we needed and we enjoyed the beautiful view to the sea every evening. Near the appartement are Restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We visited Eastbourne, Brighton and Beachy Head and loved it. It was a perfect stay in Pevensey Bay!

Spent a great week at the Wendy House whilst at Eastbourne Tennis International. The house is well-situated, well-equipped and nicely decorated, and very neat and clean; communication with Tim the owner was really easy, quick and friendly. I can't recommend it highly enough!

We (3) found WH very comfortable, with cleverly chosen and located furniture all set off by attractive decor. Lots of interesting places to dine out close to hand. The only disappointment was the pier with half its length roped off.

I really enjoyed my stay in this charming cottage. It’s been tastefully decorated in a seaside theme and I loved the use of driftwood and little ornaments. The location is fantastic with everything close at hand and even though it’s a central location it’s very quiet. I’d highly recommend Wendy House and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Wendy House for the Eastbourne cycling festival. Everything we wanted to do was within easy walking distance. The street is quiet and yet centrally located. The Wendy House itself is beautifully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay. Thank you Tim!

Our stay at Wendy House was very enjoyable. The property was beautifully decorated and well equipped. As well as providing tea and coffee supplies there was even a pint of milk waiting for us in the fridge on arrival so we could have a cup of tea as soon as we'd unpacked the car. There is a garage attached to the cottage, which can fit a small to medium sized vehicle, so it saved the expense and hassle of trying to find on-street parking. The cottage is located down a quiet side street but is only a 2 minute walk from Eastbourne train station, the main shopping facilities and places to eat. The seafront is only a 15-20 minute walk from the cottage so we hardly used our car during our stay. The owner, Tim, was very friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend Tim and his property to friends and family.

We had my parents visit from Spain and needed a base to explore the Sussex coast. Conveniently located neat transport (rail and the 12X buses), the Wendy house exceeded our expectations. Very well fitted and equipped, we had a lovely stay

Loved it was just like home from home. Welcomed by a lovely notice board on the kitchen and there was even a pint of milk in the fridge. I cooked dinner the first evening and there was everything you needed to cook a dinner. Met the neighbours who were absolutely lovely. Will definitely be back and most certainly recommend. This was the perfect place for me to stay as I was working away from home and it was like a home from home, with the owners welcoming me, to sorting out all my needs like linen, heating and sorting out any problems or questions about the area . The house was clean and well maintained but I only wish the weather had been as sunny as the house was! The location and parking was perfect as I could walk to shops without using the car however as my job started early in the morning I never used the garage provided. Would love to return when the sun shines and thanks Tim and family for making my months stay a relaxation after a hard days work.

Had a warm welcome on arrival. The cottage was ideal for the centre of Eastbourne and had everything we needed for a family of four. From the train station nearby we enjoyed trips to London and Brighton. Would recommend a trip to Birling Gap to enjoy the views, have a walk to Beachy Head or along the Seven Sisters. Had a wonderful stay. Recommended.

This was our second stay at this charmingly decorated, beautifully clean little house. It is an ideal base to explore Eastbourne being only about a ten minute walk to the front via the main shopping area. It is also next door to the station and very convenient for the buses which we made full use of to enjoy scenic journeys to Beachy Head, Brighton, Hastings and all points in between. There was everything in the house that we needed (including a bottle of wine). Despite being so close to the station etc. it was very quiet at night.

All as described in the description and better. The house was spotlessly clean and well looked after. The housekeeper Jan was very helpful and was there to greet us when we arrived. It was nice to only have a short walk into Eastbourne just a pity the weather wasn't very kind to us so did a lot of retail therapy which was great. Plenty of eating places to choose from. Would recommend the property to friends and family.

Wendy House is a fantastic cottage with great amenities and a super helpful housekeeper called Jan a few doors down. We travelled with our 2 young children and found it so convenient to be able to fly to Gatwick then get the train to Eastbourne with the house just round the corner from the station. Having said that Wendy House is in a quiet courtyard despite being 2 minutes walk from the town centre so no car was needed. A cot and high chair were provided as promised which saved bringing either. The property was good as new and very clean but the best thing is dealing with Tim who is very laidback, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay Tim.

I had planned a 2 weeks stay at Wendy house which I had to cancel at short notice due to an accident. I can't thank Tim enough for being so very sympathetic an generous. He did everything to make the awkward situation I was in tolerable for me just out of the kindness of his heart. Tim, thanks again. We keep in touch.

Wendy House is a nice small, cozy house only a few minutes' walk from the station and shops. The description on Owners Direct gives a good impression on what to expect. The living area downstairs offers a settee, an armchair, flat screen TV with DVD and a large table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is fitted to a good standard with all necessities. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs offering one room with a French bed (approx 1.9 x 1.4 m) the other with 2 single beds. The bathroom has an over bath shower with a ceiling window. Everything was clean, bedding and towels of a good quality. Tim and Tracy are most friendly and concerned about their guests. Wendy house is obviously their pride. We felt comfortable their and as we came by train, enjoyed the short walk to the shops and beach. Paying the rent and the refund of the damage deposit was easy with PayPal and recommendable. A good base for roaming the downs, walks along the promenade, a day on the beach or a daytrip to London.
