Very welcoming, very comfortable lodging with excellent private parking and within walking distance of central Lucca. It is an short, easy drive from the Autostrada Costanza was very responsive to my queries as to restaurants and booked my choice for me. She also went out of her way to meet my dietary requirements for breakfast including making a savoury pastry instead of a sweet one. We will certain stay here again if visiting Lucca

Host Agnus and Mario were wonderful and very attentive hosts..... they produced us with all the necessary info and hospitality required to enjoy our stay immensely....

Breakfast was delightful as was the attentiveness of our hosts. Restaurant suggestion resulted in perhaps the best meal of a 3+ week trip.

Our hosts, Costanza and her mum were lovely. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, great location and secure parking behind electric gates. Just be aware that the access is on a side street called Via per Corte Puccetto. We stayed once on our way to our villa and again on our return to Pisa airport.

Beautiful property, beautiful gardens, beautiful host! We really loved it here and wished he could have stayed longer. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Lucca. The breakfast was copious and delicious, with both sweet and savoury home cooked options available. In a quiet location a short walk from the centre of Lucca, the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with excellent bed linen & good aircon. Can’t wait to come back!

The B&B was a wonderful experience. Located just 8-10 minutes walk from the wall and Lucca center, it has a great proximity to everything. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was spacious, with a fridge, aircon and a nice bathroom. Constanza was very welcomming and gave us a lot of good advice, of where to go for dinner. The garden is beautiful, and the breakfast was nothing short of fantastic. We loved the different specialities from the area, and the coffee. Thanks to "Mama" and Constanza for a wonderful stay!

The host Costanza is very friendly and helpful. We received a lot of information for Lucca and the sourrounding area at check-in. The rooms are very lovingly furnished and very clean. We liked the breakfast very much - the hostess‘ mother baked a locally speciality especially for us. We will be happy to come back. Best Regards from Switzerland.

What's not to like! Costanza was kind enough to meet us early on the day of checkin to allow us to leave our bags on our way to Cinque Terre. She was super helpful and friendly explaining everything about the keys and room for when we returned. The carparking was private on their property, protected by a gate and easy to use. The room had plenty of space, with a good sized bathroom and bed. Lovely window overlooking the garden... the garden was beautiful and we were able to eat breakfast out there in the morning. The breakfast was amazing with a grand spread of home made food and the service was perfect. Will definitely come back in the future! Lucca is a beautiful, must see town and one of our favourite stops in Italy!!

The hostess was amazing and very helpful. The place was super clean, the main bed very comfortable. The extra / small bed...well, I'm sure it's great for a child (it was very unstable). I was super sick (with cold) when we arrived, so our hostess immediately offered tea, lemons from her garden, anything. Very kind.. So my 6' fiance had to sleep in the child's bed and although he's slim, well, he wasn't the most comfy. But it was our choice. The main bed was awesome! Although the heating wasn't yet turned on for the season (we were there mid-March) - something to do with authorities or how they are allowed to have heat in extra places, they actually immediately turned it on for me. ♥️ Breakfast was usual Italian with yummy pastries, amazing cappuccino, yoghurt, fruits (I raided the fruit basket, it was so good after slowly recovering). The room, the bathroom was spotless and we'll equipped.

It is a bit far from the old town: about 20-30 minutes to get to the main square (10-15mins to the wall).. Probably if I wasn't feeling so sick, it wouldn't have mattered so much but it did after all (but we solved it by driving close to the wall, park free and then walked in).

We liked the hospitality, the lovely decoration and attention to details of the guest house. We also loved the friendliness of our host and her mother. We felt welcomed and taken care of and the breakfast was very generous.

It's a little walk to the old city, but nothing too far, around 10 minutes. other than that - we had a lovely stay and loved our hosting family and the place.

Very friendly family who took care about us during whole our stay. Perfect and fresh breakfast. Nice and calm pleace near the center with safe car park in the yard.

The staff were amazing, we were shown a map with all the best attractions and given a list of resteraunts to try, they also highlighted the local dishes and wines to try. The breakfast was exceptional

The bed wasn't to my liking however my partner had a great sleep, so maybe just preference

The place is gorgeous, charming, romantic, and so comfortable! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the heart of Lucca. The breakfast was incredibly good and the garden made it a special moment.

I didn't like I had no more time. I stayed only one night. Definitely, Lucca deserves a longer visit and Le Chiusa Delle Monache is perfect for a short or longer stay. I will go back and suggest it to everyone visiting Lucca.
