Lovely hosts, very clean, freshly finished rooms. Good parking. Good nespresso coffee machine and pods provided.
Bedroom area was very warm although it was only moderately warm outside. Fan was noisy but necessary to maintain a comfortable temperature. Acoustic insulation was inadequate. Noises from neighbouring rooms were quite loud.

The hosts were so lovely and they really went out of their way for us in a number of ways. Accomodation was really nice, great area, spacious, warm and comfy. The shower was amazing.

What a total gem. This property is unique and fun; with so many wonderful touches provided by the hosts. It was comfortable and functional; but kitted out to such a high standard. We were greeted by the friendly host and given a very warm welcome. Communication was fantastic and despite it being a very last minute booking; the host was very accommodating in every way.
Will definitely be returning and soon!

Really interesting conversion in gorgeous surroundings. The apartment was spacious and had anything you could ask for. Ruth was a super friendly host and very accommodating.

Our hosts at Claron Lodge were welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to meet!
The room was impeccably, clean, comfortable and they provided us with everything we needed. We loved the fact that they provide highvis vests as there are no street lights and lots of information of the local area.
We loved our stay and wish we could have staye dofr longer! Thank you both so much ❤️

Didn’t like being told me and my son weren’t welcome after paying over £700
‘ greeted’ by a sour faced woman who was quick to tell us we couldn’t stay as sopposedly this accommodation was adult only. She was joined by her partner who told us the accommodation was not suitable for a man and his 12 year old son. When I queried why not when the accommodation had a bed plus sofa bed I was told the sofa bed was at extra cost
This was not apparent from the advertising
To be left at 7pm with a 12 year old with nowhere to stay after a 6 hour drive was a big problem
I did find somewhere another 30 minutes away

The accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable and the owners most amenable and helpful with out ever being obtrusive.
Being a Passive Haus the property was very warm due to its thermal integrity, my visit being during a period of extreme heat and little or no breeze. There was a fan but it was no match for the blazing heat of mid July.

Distinctive decorations and first-class features in kitchen and bathroom.Totally equipped!View over the neighbouring roof was stupendous.Very quiet accommodation when other rooms are occupied.
Second floor room was found to be a mobility challenge.Door sills and steps are at different heights.Hand rails on the steps down to the main floor should extend further,as there is no support going down the two bottom steps.Gap on the inside edge of the top step could be filled in to inspire confidence when descending in the dark.The creak in some of the steps caused by free play in the mounting pins is unsettling.Main floor seats too low-hard to get up for elderly.

The apartment was beautiful, it was really clean and had everything you needed for your stay.
The hosts were warm and welcoming and nothing was to much bother.
I would rate it 10 out of 10 and would happily recommend it.

We stayed at Claron Lodge when we went to Goodwood and loved our stay. The room was immaculate, modern and well equipped. It is a good location for getting to Goodwood (approximately 20 minutes) but in a quiet peaceful setting. Ruth and her husband were very welcoming and friendly and gave lots of helpful advice for getting to and from Goodwood. Claron Lodge is a couple of miles from West Wittering beach and we enjoyed the lovely walk down the quiet country lanes to get there. We would love to visit again.

We thought the place and the hosts were great. I asked for restaurant and takeaway references and Ruth supplied me with a PDF of everything that was around. Ruth is very friendly and talked us through everything.

Ruth and Jan were excellent hosts extremely welcoming. Apartment was very well equipped and clean.

It was very clean and quite quirky. Bed was comfy and bathroom a real plus.
The soundproofing between various rooms wasn’t good. We could hear everything upstairs and they were awake at 7am on a Sunday which ruined any kind of lie in! The Wi-fi was quite inconsistent too which was a bit frustrating as we were working on one of the days. The kitchen was well equipped but some wine glasses would have been a good addition.

It was very clean, the hosts were helpful and accommodating with any extra questions or requests.
Nothing to dislike as such, but the blind banged against the wall with the window open, if it was any warmer that would have made for a difficult night’s sleep. Just need something to stop it from clattering

Excellent location and lovely clean and comfortable suite. Jan & Ruth were very friendly hosts too. Close to local amenities but for us the best part was how close to West Wittering beach. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again

We received a lovely welcome from Jan and Ruth when we arrived; they were so friendly and accommodating. The little touches, such as milk in the fridge and a torch for night time walks back from the local pub, absolutely made it for us and were greatly appreciated!
Our rooms were exceptionally clean and well looked after. The bathroom was amazing, with a fantastic rainfall shower head. My partner, a craftsman himself, was incredibly impressed by the attention to detail and the high quality finish - in particular, he noted even the screw heads all faced the same direction!
The clear glass door to the bathroom took us a little by surprise, given the position off of the bedroom, however it certainly wasn't a major issue.

The lodge is in a great area, 10 minutes by bike to the beach or harbours with some lovely pubs and walks around too.
The weather! We wish we'd picked a better week for sunshine.

Amazing property with great facilities, we loved the room and the space we had. The shower was definitely a highlight, it was so nice to warm up after the windy beach! Loved the kitchen as it had everything we needed for our stay.
I honestly can't think of anything! It was a perfect stay.
