Location
No phone service, no WiFi, small beds, shower over the toilet is not comfortable. Receptionist was trying to scam us, by offering really overpriced boat rental. He said 1600 pesos per person, we went to official ticket office and found an entire boat for 1200 pesos. So don’t book anything through this property. They say there is no internet, but next second they use terminal to charge your card via internet.
4.5
Privacy and the friendly staff.
Very nice but the shower could use an upgrade (shower head).

Private cabins set in the jungle. Property was well maintained. Staff was very helpful.

Beautifully greenery, room was clean, very nice staff and organization, food and drinks at restaurant were good.

The staff were very attentive and friendly and the service and food very good.
A little more light in the room

Nice cabana with large veranda. Everything you need for a short stay. We even had hot water and good wifi connection which was totally unexpected. Beautiful surroundings with howler monkeys right beside our cabana.

jungle setting, ascetically pleasing, perfect for getting the boat to Yaxchilan

The beds were great and had a full mosquito net. It was nice to have a small seating area and table in the room. The location is obviously great too right at the pier where the boats leave. We ate at the restaurant and it was ok.
The bathroom didn't smell great and wasn't very practical (everything gets wet when you shower. The shower head is aimed straight at the toilet). You could also hear everything (and I mean everything) happening in the bathroom from the attached cabana next door since the wall isn't closed at the top. We booked our excursion to yaxillian here but only after some negotiating. The original price is way more expensive than at other sellers. So be sure to bargain.

This is a REAL oasis in the jungle! Fantastic accommodation, fantastic cuisine for a very reasonable price, very friendly and helpful staff. Yesterday, we returned back here from our trip to Tical in Guatemala (beautiful!) by public buses (a really unique experience! :), with very rough encounters with several Guatemalan locals trying to rob us in La Tecnica (Guate border across the Rio Usumacinta) on the way there, as well as back, and reaching Nueva Alianza alteady at twilight was like coming back home to safety and comfort.

Awesome location, nice huts, helpful staff, restaurant staff is attentive food is acceptable. They even called colectivo to the hotel. Overall good experience.
Our lock broke, it was fixed timely. Loud music came from the street. Electricity went out one night. Cool water in the shower.

Stay at the apartment (hut in a jungle) has been an unforgetable time. Place is nice, clean and makes time spent during holiday comfortable and safe. Host is communicative, pleasant and helpful person. Accommodation is surely great quality-price offer.
Highly recommend.

the location is perfect to go to the frontier, beds are very comfortable with a powerful fan and are conditioning (the last one is not very sustainable since the the walls are made of wood and let it pass through). there is water available at the lobby.
the breakfast is unfortunately not included which would be better since the rooms are a bit pricey.
Or have a better offer for the lancha (boat to Yaxchilan)

Restaurant is okay but we got food poisoning. The electricity went out one day and the water went out the day we left so we couldn’t shower that day. The wifi never worked and was always significantly slower than the roaming data that our phones latched onto from Guatemala. The cabins are a neat idea but there were spiders and the hot water was hit or miss. For being the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our 3 week trip to Chiapas, it did not meet our expectations for the price. That being said, the location was very cool, we had the advantage of taking a very early boat to yaxchilan by ourselves and it is convenient to have a restaurant there. Overall we enjoyed the stay but they should fix some things to bring the quality of service up to the standard set by the price.

amazing to spend the night in the jungle, even if the howler monkeys do wake you occasionally! nice rooms, close to the boats for the ruins. reasonable restaurant on site. wifi is in the reception building but nowhere else, did cut out a few times but can’t expect much more in the jungle.

Very large cabanas with brand new mosquito bed nets. Very close to the river. Restaurant staff is great.
Holes in the mosquito netting in the bathroom.
Reception staff tried to overcharge for lancha to the ruins. Quoted me for 1600 pesos, when real price is 1450 from the official office in town, and is easily negotiable during covid to 1200. I also asked him for information about the collectivo back to Palenque and he tried to charge an extra 100 pesos to have the collectivo come to the hotel. Was absolutely not interested in providing helpful information without taking some kind of cut. He also refused to give my girlfriend the wifi password for some reason.

The lights didnt work in the bathroom, there were ants in the lightbulb (it was raining their dirt from the ceiling in the bathroom)
Very helpful staff, comfortable beds, good and new air conditioning, very close to the embarcador to take boats to Yaxchilan

The location was great, great food at the restaurant. It’s simple accommodation but good for one night as a base to visit the ruins.
Drinking Water wasn’t provided in the rooms. Hot water wasn’t turned on until late. The WiFi was very weak.

Great positioning near the boats to Yaktchilan, good restaurant with wide range of choices, quiet place well equiped.

I stayed in the cheapest rooms, and despite beeing basic, they are so nicely made and spotless clean. You are in the jungle, and this place is very jungly. Loved the thatched roof restaurant with jungle view. The prices are seemingly higher than elsewhere, bur the portions are way bigger. The common bathrooms are cleaned many times a day, and they have hot showers. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to return to Frontera Corozal a few days after I left, as unless you gave paid the immigration fee and gave a proof of hotel reservation, they eill only give you 7 days visa. There is no bank in Frontera Corozal. The staff at the hotel helped me with a printout of my reservation and I got a new 180 days visa.
The breakfast starts too late if you want to see a lot the sights independently with public transport.

Actually location, good rooms, a/c.
When we arrived, WiFi and Internet was very fast, during check Inn staff offered for us boat to Yaxchilan for 1600 MXP. I said, we will think about, but price too high for us. After this internet immediately gone. And it's important, coz Mexican Sim cards totally not working in this area - only Guatemalan. And friendliness also gone. Anyway next day we went to Yaxchilan thru Nuevo Aliance for 1140 MXP incl tickets, but booked it near boat thru another staff. Lol. And it's normal price for 2 individual trevellers.
After we came back from tour, Internet did not work, coz staff changed password. We get new one. It was super fast. But after 10 min after check out they cut it for us. Cannot understand why staff playing with this.
