We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Pilchard Works. The room was delightful. Clean, elegant and cosy. The location was perfect. Tracey and Neil are wonderful hosts.

The property was sparking clean in a great location and the fresh breakfast every morning was delicious.

It was as good as staying in an hotel. The breakfast was better than any hotel breakfast I have had, with the added bonus of personal service and several of options to choose from.

I can't fault the accommodation but would have liked to have had free parking!

Tracey, who runs the B&B, was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was very comfortable with good en-suite shower room, and separate entrance . Everything was spotless and there were some nice touches such as the fresh wild flowers. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied daily. The B&B is situated in the centre of Mousehole, so very close to all facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice, high quality and delicious.

We had a wonderful weekend break staying in the Old Pilchard Works in Mousehole. Tracey was the perfect host and her property is simply amazing... everything about our stay was exceptional. Sparklingly clean and bright bedroom and bathroom, delicious breakfast, perfect location. Can't recommend highly enough!

Spotless accommodation and highly efficient and charming owners

Tracey could not have been more helpful! The open white room with multiple windows gave an excellent feeling even in the rainy days. We could see the sea in one side, and a beautiful garden with flowers on the other. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. The extras like make up mirror, blow-dryer, good coffee/tea selection etc brought this up a level. Essentially, where everybody else tries to cut corners to bring the costs down, all of these are done right here, and it shows!

A little bit expensive, although we went at the height of the season so it was to be expected.

This was one of, if not the most lovely place we've ever stayed in. As regular b&b'ers we know what's good and what isn't, and this place was faultless. For a start, the room was completely spotless, Tracey had obviously worked really hard to make the room as Covid safe as possible and the results were clear. She was also super accomodating, letting us check in a bit early due to a particularly mizzly Cornish day. The bed was sooo comfy, and massive, I haven't slept that well in a b&b in a long time. The location was fabulous, a few seconds from the middle of Mousehole, which is one of the most picturesque places in Cornwall. Breakfast was also fabulous. Not the traditional full English (of which I am a fan) and all the better for it. Really wholesome and super tasty, the granola and compot were particularly tasty! All in all a beautiful place to stay we can't wait to visit again.
