Todo, la casa es espectacular. Decorada muy bonita y cuidada con mucho mimo. Todo eran detalles que sorprendían para bien y la terraza preciosa. Y el propietario súper atento y amable.

The Casa Azul was a really lovely place to stay and our host, Juan, was welcoming and very helpful. He was also easy to contact. The house was very charming, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We particularly loved the roof terrace where even in January, we could sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather. The lift was a great surprise and much appreciated. The garage parking space nearby was a bonus. The advantage of the house was that it is located in the old town and so we could walk everywhere in the centre with ease. The city was very charming and we were surprised how much there was to see. We visited the amazing Alcazaba, the Archaeological and photographic museums as well as the cathedral, the food market and the refuges (air raid shelters) from the civil war and the beautiful Monasterio de la Purisma Concepción. All very worthwhile. We had a marvellous day trip to the Alhambra Granada (by car). There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants to eat in within 15-20 minutes walk -two great cafes for breakfast very nearby…Churros Manolo one minute away and Cafe-Bar Mirador de la Alcazaba less than five mins walk just opposite the entrance to the Alcazaba. There’s a supermarket a minute away too! Overall a great holiday and we were pleasantly surprised by Almería.

Lovely property, lots of detail and everything you need. We loved the lift to the roof terrace and a trolley to take food and drink up there. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Communication was always clear and replies prompt. In the old town 8 min walk to bars and restaurants. Mini supermarket around the corner.

What a lovely house! The interior is lovely, with high ceiling, spanish tiles on the floor, bright colors, nice details. It really makes you feel at home. The roof terrace is a great place, with looks at the Alcazaba castle. And since there is wifi, we could even work from there and make our colegues at home jealous during videocalls😎

The wifi sometimes had trouble keeping up with us and visiting friends online working.

Casa Azul is spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped in every way. Beautiful and spacious, with an amazing roof terrace which has spectacular views of the Alcazaba. The location is great - minutes away from a variety of bars/restaurants. Juan is a lovely host - his recommendations much appreciated.
