Zowel bij in als check out, Veel fouten vekeerde boeking en na bestelling van TWEE ontbijt slechts EEN geboekt. Waar we bijstonden. Bij uitcheck bleek (op een onvriendelijke manier) dat er een fout gemaakt was en of we maar een extra ontbijt wilden bijbetalen. Het afrekenen van het diner was lachwekkend. Bonnetjes waren niet doorgegeven zodat degeen achter de "kassa" geen flauw idee had wat er was geconsumeerd. Veel heen en weer geloop en navragen zeer inefficient en ergerlijk. Bij het uitchecken kon een excuus voor de gemaakte fouten er niet af. Het klonk bijna als een beschuldiging. Deze beginnelingen van de dag ervoor hadden nooit zonder begeleiding deze taken moeten uitvoeren. Dilletantisch, klantonvriendelijk weinig professioneel. Management schijnbaar niet aanwezig voor begeleiding en het nemen van verantwoording. Voor wat deze vestiging betreft...voor mij de laatste keer.

The room is nice, clean and surprisingly spacious. The staff was friendly, we arrived for check in around midnight and it went very smoothly. The location of the hotel is great if you are coming with a car. There is a large parking spot in front of the hotel, so we had no problems parking despite arriving late.

The shower head was broken, so the water was spraying all over the bathroom as there is no shower door.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bastion Almere through Booking.com, and I must say that my experience was extremely disappointing. I encountered multiple occasions where the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to handle basic customer service tasks. It was frustrating and left me feeling unsupported during my stay. To make matters worse, there were no towels provided in the room. It is an absolute basic expectation for any hotel to provide clean towels for guests. I found it unacceptable that I had to request towels separately and wait for an extended period before they were eventually delivered. Such negligence in providing basic amenities is simply inexcusable. The breakfast offered by Hotel Bastion Almere was a complete disappointment. The quality and variety of the food were subpar, with limited options available. It felt as though the hotel was cutting corners to save costs, resulting in a lackluster and unappetizing breakfast experience. For the price I paid, I expected a more enjoyable and satisfying meal to start my day. Overall, my stay at Hotel Bastion Almere left me feeling deeply dissatisfied and regretful.
