Everybody was friendly and welcoming Lovely outside seating area Nice variety on pub menu especially Tapas

No toiletries provided apart from hand wash Just stayed for one night and didn’t get chance to ask if any were available but a small shower gel in bathroom would have helped

The furniture was stylish, great carpet

the curtains and blinds were cream which let all the morning light in, so it was extremely light at 5am and difficult to get back to sleep Lack of welcome biscuits after a long journey to have with a cup of tea, the cups were tiny and there was a sauser missing, had to ask the bar for the hair dryer as it was not in room. The sink drained very slowly, the bed was not comfortable it was like a board! One window is broken and full of condensation water.

Location was excellent as we were visiting family close by. Room was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Ate in pub for evening meal which was good.

The only problem was there was live music on the Sunday night which was loud. But it didn't go on too late

Room spotless and well furnished.

Arrived to find there was no record in the diary of my booking, although this was not a problem as there were several empty rooms. Although I was aware, no breakfast is provided, which is a real downside, but there is a shop next door for sandwiches, etc. Bathroom is very small, with nowhere to put your toiletries except on the floor. Having said the above, it’s good value.

Facilities and staff were great xx

The sink in the bathroom was too small so water went everywhere when used and water drained away really slowly.

The Red Lion does not provide breakfast but there are plenty of places nearby to eat. I enjoyed the evening meal. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

Pleasant, nice bar and good selection of beers and clean.

The room was very clean, bright & modern.

The TV was not working on the first night & you can hear a fair bit of noise from the pub below, so no ideal if you have an early start.

Really nice village pub with a decent and clean, if a little small, room. Pub served a decent pint and the food was great. service was excellent
