The town Safety Harbor has plenty of great spots for eating out; check out Main Street. Close to Clearwater beach. Outlets in Tampa are about 45 minutes away. It far exceeded all of our expectations. The home was perfectly clean, decorated adorably. The rooms were far lovelier than the pictures captured. The lake in back was a hit! My husband fished and caught and released up to 30 fish one morning! The pool and Lanai were fabulous! Safety Harbor is an adorable town with great eating places, pier fishing, and fun scenery. Our host was very kind and accessible for questions. This was a wonderful experience, and I would be thrilled to come again next year!

This home is a dream and we will definitely return on our next trip to Florida! Well worth the drive from Charlotte, this lovely Lake House is exactly as described and the view is even better! Mornings and evenings on the dock were snatched from the pages of a book! The remodeled kitchen and master bath are beautiful and super functional. Clean, comfortable, and appropriately decorated, we highly recommend you choose this Lake House for your next stay. Safety Harbor is a delightful!

Nice place. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Rain kept us inside more than we would have liked be enjoyed it very much.

Our VRBO stay was a dream! Clean, serene, and perfect for our infant daughter. The property sparkled, providing a worry-free environment. Our little one had everything she needed, from crib to high chair. Nature greeted us with soft-shell turtles, alligators, birds, and abundant fish off the dock. Surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil waters, it was pure bliss. The hosts' hospitality was exceptional. This family-friendly haven deserves our highest recommendation. Can't wait to return!

Perfect location to stay when visiting Safety Harbor. Close to so many other great locations too. And to be able to enjoy the view of the lake was so relaxing!

The home was beautiful. We ran into a few hiccups (not caused by owner) and the owner was very responsive. Location is wonderful as it is easy walking distance to downtown. Safety Harbor has many great restaurants. No need to travel further but if compelled, beach is a short drive as well as additional restaurants, stores, etc.

This is the second Thanksgiving we have stayed at this nice home. It’s on a private pie-shaped fenced lot with a sweeping view of Lake Alligator. Over coffee in the morning, poolside we watched the pelicans dive for fish and Oscar, the ahinga bird dry his wings on the dock. The home has a convenient split floor plan, perfect for families, or two to three couples. The art work all through the house is fun to view. This is one of the nicest and cleanest homes we have ever rented, well appointed and comfortable.

Once you enter the home, you can really appreciate its cosyness; there isn't much parking area because the neighbors do not park their vehicles in their driveways, but take up parts of the roadway; however, once inside, all is private and warm. The pool is wonderful and there really are gators to entertain; the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped; the washer and dryer are nice; there are also many convenient items (noodles to use in the pool, bicycles for riding; most everything you would need to enjoy the property including several tvs if you are inclined to watch one while staying). Rebecca is available if you need her and will return your calls. You can even send her a text message. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay...especially once we figurged out (with Rebecca's help) how to lock the door. Time flies, so no matter how long you stay, it will go by quickly, so take advantage of every moment. I would recommend using an exterminator while the property is unoccupied to get rid of the pests, however, so the guests never see them. A little maintenance is needed on the property (the garage door is hard to manage; one of the kitchen drawers came off the runner and could not be fixed). The funiture is nice and all the guests linens and towels, etc. were of good quality. That was really appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay at this Safety Harbor house! There was so much to do and it was very close to the beach. The pool and the view at the house was the best part! We will be back next year! Thank you so much!

This house and property were lovely. The house is located on a point on Alligator Lake, and my friends and I greeted every day having coffee and tea on the dock, enjoying the peaceful mornings watching pelicans, Cormorants, turtles and even the occasional alligator swimming by. Although there are houses on either side, because of the way this house extends out on the point, it feels very private and secluded. The pool is a true pool - not a lap pool - so there is a wonderfully deep end, and you can swim while looking out over the lake. I would suggest the purchase of some lounge chairs, as there was nowhere to really “sun,” however we took our own pool floats and lounged in the water, which turned out just fine. The house itself is an eclectic mix of decor, with awesomely comfortable beds in all three rooms (I believe maybe memory foam, but whatever they were they were cozy) and all three bedrooms have a water view and are bright and airy. The house is large, has plenty of different seating and gathering areas, and worked perfectly for our needs. The master suite is on one side of the house, while the other two bedrooms are in their own separate wing on the other. It was very hot during our stay, so only one of the three of us walked into Safety Harbor, but it is an easy walk through a couple of neighborhood blocks and would be a gorgeous saunter on cooler days. If you go, be sure to visit the famous Live Oak in the middle of the town. It is between 300-500 years old, and a humbling thing to see. We did drive into town to wander for a bit, and had lunch at Daydreamers Cafe. Cute digs. Good eats. The house is located about 20 minutes from Dunedin, my favorite town on the east coast of Florida. I recommend The Crown and Bull for dining if you head in that direction. You won’t be disappointed. Clearwater beach is not far, but we chose Indian Rocks Beach, which is slightly less crowded. The water was clear, calm and delightful. We didn’t need to contact the owner once we arrived, but she was very helpful and communicative prior to our stay. I would recommend this home for your next vacation getaway.

House was great. Very clean & comfortable. Our teenage girls loved fishing off the dock and being entertained with the alligators that would watch nearby. A short drive to local grocery stores and only 30 minutes to the public axis beaches. Was also a quick drive to Busch Gardens. There was plenty of room for everyone. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and the very minor issue we had was rapidly resolved. Will definitely plan to stay again.

We loved the house, but a few lacking details. It is not suitable for 8. We had only 5 and fit but anymore would have been uncomfortable. We found a dead mouse in the washer, the pool guy didn’t finish his job we did it for him, one or more of the sliding glass doors is broken, there is no hooks on the fishing poles and no guidance to find some locally (we ended up at Dicks), the pillows were hard and not comfortable, we would stay again but a few upgrades need done. Floors are warped in areas, paint is chipped etc. little things need addressed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was as listed, very clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Bikes, pool toys, and fishing rods provided activities without the extra work of bringing our own. The pool was very enjoyable and the view was spectacular. The host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

With 3 bathrooms, all the girls were all able to get ready at the same time. We walked and biked to the pier, restaurants and the park. I own a vacation rental on the Northeast coast of Florida so I'm kinda picky and when I tell you this place was awesome, it really was. I hope to return soon! Thanks again, Kelly

This home was perfect for our vacation. The view is spectacular, the pool was perfect, the home was clean and equipped with everything needed plus extras and the owner was easy to reach. With 3 bathrooms, all the girls were all able to get ready at the same time. We walked and biked to the pier, restaurants and the park. This home is exactly that. A home. It’s nestled at the end of a residential cul de sac with big lake view and couple of short blocks to the village of Safety Harbor. Rebecca has considered the needs of her guests and the house is well equipped for all ages. I took a star off as we had several minor maintenance issues and dog poop outside the lanai to clean up. I think if you allow pets, one must have oversight to ensure the next guests do not have “dog duty”. I shared these concerns and the property owner was receptive. Safety Harbor is a fun little village with plenty to offer.
