We had to leave early in the morning so we couldn't enjoy our included breakfast. Overall, our stay was pleasent. The staff that helped us during our check in was friendly and kind, same as the staff that helped us during our check out. Location-wise, it was perfect, we walked to the restaurantes around the area and we felt safe. Room-wise, everything was perfect, we had been traveling for a month and Own Hotel was the first hotel that gave us enough shampoo and conditioner for both of us. The shower was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Nothing at all, we stayed for only a couple of hours and we trully wish we could have stayed more. We have absolutely no complaints over Own Hotel.

Location was great. Breakfast has little choice but it was okay. WiFi works, not too much to say about it.

AC was very bad, it barely cools down. It was set at 16C 24/7 and it still kept the temperateure of 25C in the room during days and nights. During mornings when there is direct sunlight to the room, AC is useless. Additionally, during morning when sunlight first starts heating up your room, there will be a popping sound on windows, presumably from adhesive(glue) heating up and expanding. I've never heard this sound in hotels before. Some windows cannot fully close, there is a small gap in them which is usually not a problem, but during very windy days it fizzles. There is only overhead shower, no hand-held. In room, there was a black patch on the floor that looked like burned or soaked wood, presumably from leaking shower. You can hear everything happening on your floor, walls are very thin and doors have a lot of gaps.

The location is very good - very conveniently located with Punta Carretas a few minutes away with lots of great restaurants.
