The mattress was comfortable The shower was excellent

The dark room - even with lights on made it not very cheerful and didn’t want to spend time in the room. The bathroom modern but long black hairs in the shower tray. Couldn’t see the cleanliness of room because the lights were so dim.

Beautiful little pub. Great breakfast.

No hot water in the morning. Mentioned to staff. Rug in room was a tripping hazard Rooms showing signs of wear and tear

I think that there should be some kind of marker on the account of customer’s who have paid prior to arriving at the Fountain so that the mistake that was made and my friend paid for her stay when I had already paid when booking. All sorted out in the end. We will use the Fountain again but will book directly and not with booking. Com.
