A beautifully furnished, stone cottage in Swanage with garden and parking.
Situé dans un quartier résidentiel cul-de-sac, cette superbe maison individuelle a été récemment construit et fini à un cahier des charges élevées. Le Gatehouse se trouve à seulement dix minutes de marche du centre-ville de Swanage et des plages primées. Il dispose d'un accès facile à la route pour 3 voitures.
Il a été meublé à un niveau élevé avec le confort à l'esprit, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour se détendre. Les enfants sont bien accueillis avec accès à un lit de voyage, un escalier, une chaise haute, des jouets et des jeux.
En bas ouvert avec une salle à manger et un salon donnant sur le jardin. portes françaises du salon ouvrent sur le patio et le jardin. Il y a aussi un hangar qui contient des meubles de jardin et un barbecue et peut être utilisé pour le stockage de vélo pour ceux qui veulent explorer la belle campagne environnante.
L'escalier menant du salon, bifurque à deux paliers distincts. Le premier a une chambre double de bonne taille et une salle de bains séparée complète. Le second contient la chambre à deux lits, une grande chambre king size et salle de douche séparée.

Clean, modern, well equipped and centrally located the house had all the home comforts. Garden office / games room was a hit with the teens whilst the garden seating area and barbecue was great for a family gathering. 5 stars all the way!

A delightful sunny week spent in this comfortable, well equipped house and garden. Comfortable beds, two good shower rooms, 3 loos, Well supplied with garden furniture. 13 mins walk from the sea. Quality furnishings and fittings. Would be happy to return or to recommend

The good weather enabled us to enjoy the lovely spacious garden. The house was very well equipped, we had everything we needed. It was also very handy to have use of an outdoor socket to charge our car from. All in all a great stay we would definite return.

The Gatehouse is a lovely house, with a great layout for families or friends sharing. It is immaculately presented, very comfortable, very easy to cater for stay-in evenings, everything works excellently. An easy walk into Swanage town and very easy drives to the fantastic South West Coastal path and the villages en route.
We had a very pleasant New Year stay here - we highly recommend this property for a visit to Swanage and Purbeck.

We cannot speak highly enough of this property; it delivers everything and more than you would expect from a holiday rental.
Additional ongoing comms with Sally (owner) throughout the week were very efficient.
A boiler problem rolled over to us from previous week however it was corrected.
House location means you are only a 10 minute stroll from the town. And garden is private plus well equipped for all to enjoy.
Most likely a return to property for the four of us.

Property as described, comfortable and clean, lovely back garden and BBQ area. had issue with the boiler which the owner was trying to sort, no hot water for 2 x days. Apart from that all good and would stay again.

My family stayed at this property for 5 days in July. Throughout the booking process and pre arrival Sally was really helpful and made everything run smoothly.
The house was a good size for us with 2 adults and 3 children aged 10 to 23z the garden room was an extra bonus as it gave space. The garden was a good size with plenty of seating, parking was really easy.
We cooked at home some nights and the kitchen was well stocked, there were also plenty of takeaways within walking distance and most delivered. We also walked I.to the town which was a relatively short walk, fast on the way down!
Swanage itself we found to be a great base to visit lots of attractions on the Jurassic Coast.
Throughout our stay Sally was very responsive, I will definitely return!

Really enjoyed our stay, house is clean, well equipped, nice garden and has quirky features. Great location in Swanage and our teenagers enjoyed using the garden room. The garden is private and great for a BBQ and outside dining. Lots of places to visit nearby including lovely beaches and great cafes in Swanage. Would highly recommend this property.

We liked the property as it is modern, with 3 toilets, 2 showers and 2 dedicated off street parking spaces, so unlike many of the rental properties in Swanage you’re not fighting for limited parking or queuing for a bathroom in the morning. It’s slightly further from the beach, but very handy for day trips to Corfe Castle or other Purbeck villages.

Sally was a great host, lots of communication and the checking in process was clear and easy. The photos don't do this house justice, it's lovely and the location is fabulous. The house is really well stocked with a great bbq. There are beach toys as well and a decent wind break. We have a 6 six year old and the walk to the beach was 15mins. There is a decent stocked Costcutters a few minutes walk from the house.

Very nice cottage
This is a well appointed and comfortable holiday home, with an amply stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely rooms, good equipment for infants (sadly we only discovered the toy box late in the week). The garden is very pleasant, and the location excellent. We had great weather, and never needed to try the TV. We hope to be back.

Lovely to walk into a well equipped house with an unexpected welcome pack. Quirky house layout up and downstairs with a very nice enclosed garden. Excellent base for those with transport. Definitely would consider a return visit.

Very happy with the house and would recommend, but had some issues with cleanliness of the bed linen, which was made known to the owner. We also had to go out and buy a new battery for the beeping smoke alarm when we arrived.
The owner is aware of the issue and did apologise, although we resolved the issues ourselves.

Great stay
The Gatehouse is in a good location walking distance or a short drive from Swanage town - it’s clean, comfortable and cosy and really nicely decorated - we stayed for a weekend in Nov with friends and three children under 6 and t”we all loved it. Sally was super helpful and we would definitely like to go back again.
