Oceanfront Sugar Beach Resort Penthouse 34. Amazing Ocean Views! Remodeled!
Bienvenue au Sugar Beach Resort Penthouse 34, l'un des meilleurs condos avec vue sur l'océan à Maui. La véranda au dernier étage est très privée et donne sur l'océan sans fin et 5 miles de plage de sable blanc - parfait pour des promenades paisibles le matin ou le soir. Observez les baleines pendant la saison des baleines (de janvier à avril) sans quitter la résidence et découvrez certains des meilleurs couchers de soleil de Maui depuis le balcon. La vue sur l'océan est spectaculaire !!
PH34 est loué directement auprès des propriétaires. La cuisine et la salle de bain ont été entièrement rénovées en août 2018 avec tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable et de beaux comptoirs en quartz dans la cuisine pour une sensation très propre et moderne. Il dispose de tous les nouveaux meubles très confortables, y compris un lit king-size avec un nouveau matelas et de la literie (avril 2018). Le canapé-lit est également nouveau avec un matelas queen-size amélioré pour votre confort. Le condo a également un téléviseur à écran plat intelligent et un haut-parleur Bluetooth JBL pour que vous puissiez facilement profiter de la musique directement depuis votre téléphone tout en préparant un dîner dans la cuisine et en profitant de la vue. Nous avons également fourni le wifi gratuit pour votre commodité.
Notre condo dispose également de la climatisation centrale, ce qui est rare pour les condos maui - gardez l'intérieur à la température qui vous rend le plus confortable. Le condo est équipé avec goût de tout ce dont vous aurez besoin, y compris des planches de bodyboard, un parasol, des serviettes de plage, des chaises de plage, etc.
Le complexe possède des ascenseurs pour un accès facile du condo à la plage et une belle piscine en bord de mer, un spa et des barbecues. Les jardins sont bien entretenus et l'herbe vous mène directement à la plage, à seulement quelques pas. Il y a une société de réservation d'activités dans le hall pour vous permettre de profiter des sites et des excursions de Maui, ou simplement vous détendre toute la semaine et ne rien faire.
Sugar Beach est idéalement situé sur le côté ouest de Maui. Il est à environ 15 minutes de l'aéroport (et Costco!), 15-20 minutes au nord de Wailea et 30 minutes au sud de Kaanapali et Lahaina.

We had a fabulous stay in Maui and highly recommend Kevin’s condo. The view truly cannot be beat. The condo is fully stocked, clean, and comfortable. This was our first time in Maui and we loved how central staying in Sugar Beach was to other parts of the island. The area is low key and less busy than other places we visited on the island. We loved being able to walk to Sugar Beach Bakery and the farmer’s market just down the beach. We also recommend the snorkel rental place and sandwich shop/bar that is one site. Very friendly! It was quite windy in the afternoons when we were there (partially due to nearby tropical storms that luckily didn’t really impact us), but the mornings on the beach were lovely and the pool and grounds were very well kept. Thanks for a wonderful retirement celebration!

Beautiful unobstructed water view. Veranda and apartment exactly as described. Spotlessly cleaned. Well equipped kitchen and beach supplies and easy communication with host. Would recommend.

Amazing views, beautiful condo, property is well maintained and 25 minutes from the airport. Kitchen is well equipped for all cooking needs as well as a bbq area. We would definitely stay here again.

Thouroughly enjoyed our last days on Maui. The location was perfect, in the hub of everything, close to restaurants, airport and a beautiful long beach right outside our doors. The added bonus of the beach chairs was perfect for our day spent at Big Beach. A perfect end to a vacation of a lifetime!

From the view to the location to the condition of the condo…everything was perfect. Pool was great - never crowded. Parking was abundant. Owner was very responsive throughout. Walk right onto the beach and take a left for a 5 min walk to Sugar Beach Bakery (a must). Looking forward to returning.

Great property and a great location. This unit is a penthouse that faces the ocean perfectly! Nicely appointed kitchen (we like to cook). Also, a very comfy bed and pillows. Sound silly but a nice mattress and pillows make a difference after a long day of hiking, beaching and exploring. We will book again for sure!

We have stayed at Sugar Beach five times and this was by far our favorite condo we have stayed in. Communication was quick and check in easy. The condo itself is very clean, furnished with contemporary and comfortable furniture and very nice kitchen amenities. The towels and sheets were new and soft and the bed itself was super comfy! We appreciated the beach gear as well! As always, the view at Sugar Beach is perfect as is the beach. We had a turtle swim next to us one day! Such a great location too…easy access to everything but quiet. We will always come back to Sugar Beach and would, without hesitation book Kevin’s place again!! Thank you!!

We are two adults and an infant, and stayed here for a week in nov-dec. The view from the balcony is magnificent, and the sunsets are incredible over the ocean. The unit is indeed directly over the beach, with a few feet of lawn and palm trees in between.
It is conveniently located to everything in south Maui, and easy access to and from the airport and everything around there. And of course getting around the rest of Maui from here is also easy.
The kitchen worked great for our needs.
We enjoyed the building's hot tub / pool, and walking along the adjacent beach. We also appreciated and used the provided beach chairs and umbrellas.
Note if you are traveling with an infant, we had to bring our own pack-n-play crib.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Our stay was good but I doubt we would book there again. Since we were unable to stay in our original west Maui location, we had to make this work at such short notice. Condo was adequately furnished with a great view. The owners were nice and were responsive.
Only two gripes were the following:
1. Was a small space, esp in the bedroom and bathroom. Space was limited and I somewhat had to live out of my suitcase while offering up the dresser space to my wife.
2. For half of the time, there was a sewer like smell (which was really bad at times). We came to find out it was from the rotting decaying fish carcuses from a fish pond that was drying up across the street. It’s for this reason I wouldn’t book this place again or any other unit within Sugar Beach Resort. We chose to travel more around the island to avoid this nasty smell. It was unavoidable around the entire complex (pool, beach, balcony, parking lot… etc) when the wind would pickup.

PH34 has amazing Lanai views right on the ocean. The condo is equipped with the necessities needed for your stay. We had friends who stayed on the second floor and got wind blown sand on their lanai daily. Being up in the PH we had no issues with sand. Condo is very comfortable. Would definitely stay in this unit again if available for our future Maui trip. Kevin was a super host!!!

It was a great location. The beach and pool area were awesome and that’s where we spent most of our time. After the fires, even though we weren’t in danger. We tried to change our flights nothing was available. Our checkout time was 11am and our flight was at 9pm. Our original plan was to spend all that day in Lahaina. Since that all changed I reached out to Kevin to see if we could get a late checkout. He responded immediately and said he’ll check a few things and get back to me. A short time later he emailed and said his guests coming in that day cancelled. He changed the housekeeping and we could stay until time for our flight. We were so relieved and thankful. We would definitely stay there again.

Wanted to take our teen boys to catch some waves. This condo was a great location- walking distance to the ABC store for quick snacks and amazing shaved ice at Ululani’s. Condo was neat and tidy, stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies to make our meals to save a couple bucks. Bathroom also came with plenty of toiletries and beauty supplies. Highly recommend!

This was our Second Time staying at Sugar Beach Resort. It’s a perfect Location for getting around the island . Awesome Beachfront penthouse condo. Having Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards & umbrellas is great addition.
We will stay here again if it’s available when we come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners provided everything we needed—even providing a second body board—and more. We appreciated all the extra touches which really added comfort. The condo was very clean, quiet, private, and centrally located for the variety of activities we enjoyed. Thanks for a super place to stay.

We had aa great stay at this penthouse condo! It was so convenient to all the activities that we had planned. Sugar Beach is a long beach that is great to walk along. Sugar Bay Resort is an older condo complex but this unit has been renovated and looks great! Well stocked with all you need!

Everything was wonderful. Great location, the condo was what we expected. However, we were not told that we needed to register with the office. The office reached out to us on the third day. Everything was fine and we didn’t get our car towed. We would definitely go back.

The view from the condo is hard to match or beat. It’s also on one of the most walkable beaches.
The condo has been refreshed, but oddly they chose to have you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom which is not conducive to full privacy if that’s an issue for you.
It is terribly windy at this location in the spring, some days uncomfortably so. I had the back of a lounger blow up from a gust and hit me on the head! We understood that it is not this way at other times of the year, so take note.
There is a fully stocked kitchen and coffee maker, which was lovely. Compared to other condos we have stayed at, especially for an almost 2 week stay, we were disappointed in some of the everyday supplies that were left for our use. E.g, they have a note to remove the garbage often to avoid small bugs but left only two extra garbage bags, so we had to buy some. They also only left 3 dishwasher pods and three washing machine pods. Again, had to purchase some because with the limited supply of towels these were gone quickly. The air conditioning never fully cool the condo or bedroom, which was disappointing.
While the bath towels are limited, they do thoughtfully provide beach towels, a couple of Bahama chairs and a small soft cooler, boogie board, etc.
The location is a prefect jumping off point for seeing the sights Maui has to offer. The view from the lanai and location on the beach are the highlights of this condo.

We enjoyed our stay here even though the weather was terrible while in Maui. It was nice while we were stuck in doors to have a nice place to watch movies or sit on the lanai and read, while enjoying the sounds of the waves.
