We loved the pool and outdoor spaces and the villa was an ideal size for four adults and an infant. The place was cleaned brilliantly, Lilian was super-helpful and we loved our stay. Can’t recommend highly enough

We enjoyed this charming villa. It’s well kept garden provides great privacy. The pool is great! It was hard to decide most days on pool or the beach. Once you arrive, you won't need a car. Store, 3 great restaurants and the public beach are all a walking distance. In the evening you can take 30 min drive to Kotor or Herceg Novi, for site seeing. Great place fir a vacation. You wont regret it.

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Lillian was very helpful during out stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There are places to eat within walking distance and even more just a short drive away. The grocery store at the end of the road stocks all of the essentials even if it is slightly more expensive than the bigger supermarkets in some of the nearby villages. The location of the villa provides easy access to the main road so getting out to see the amazing scenery in Montenegro was no problem at all. Without having to contend with the heavier traffic around the cities. All in all we had a fantastic time and would really recommend this perfect little villa.

The villa totally lived up to the description and the reviews, and the surroundings and views surpassed all expectations. Lillian was incredibly kind and helpful as a host - we are used to staying in houses or villas where you’re absolutely left to your own devices, so having Lillian next door, or in the garden keeping an eye on the plants every morning meant we could tap in to her knowledge of the area and what to do/where to go! Hiring a car for 2 days was great, and again, Lillian was really helpful in organising this and arranging the drop off and collection - and it was such a treat to be met at the airport and not have to sort out car hire or directions after an early start (and in 34 degree heat)! If you do go without car hire, I would recommend getting a car for at least a day to get to bigger (cheaper) supermarkets where you’ll get fresh meat etc, and to do some driving around the bay to see other towns and stunning views! Despite acquiring a gazillion mosquito bites while there, the pool and villa were lovely to spend time in. The pool was great for my 7 year old, the absolute perfect temperature in the August sunshine - you do need to be a confident swimmer with there being no shallow end - but he loved jumping off the board and it’s a good size for a family of 3/4. Tramontana bar across the main road has good food at good prices, and the beach (including the really low cost loungers and umbrellas) at Morinj is fab - as was paddle boarding in the bay: what a lovely memory that is for us all. We’ve left the number for a contact to hire boards from Morinj in the visitors’ book. All in all, we loved our trip both to Montenegro and the villa - as someone else said in their review, the only reason we might not be back is because there’s so much of the world still to see. But if we are ever in Montenegro again, we’d stay here in an instant.

La villa est extra : de très grande qualité et de grand confort , encore plus jolie que sur les photos. La piscine et le jardin sont également magnifiques (dommage qu'il y ait des moustiques). La location est située dans un village tranquille (loin du tumulte de certaines villes). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Lilian. A conseiller pour découvrir les bouches de Kotor !

The Villa was so charming and the location absolutely perfect. But the gardens were spectacular and so heavenly to have the pool! Lillian was a superb host. We were so lucky to stay there!!!!

The property is in a fantastic location. We decided. It to hire a care. It was way to get around using public transport. Perast, Risan and Kotor as easy to get to and worth visiting. Morinj is small with a beach and lovely local restaurants. The villa is superbly located. The pool was great, WiFi works well and the villa is spotless. Would highly recommend. The new annex was great meaning that two couples can comfortably stay here.

Three of us had a lovely time staying at the villa. The garden is absolutely stunning, the scent of jasmine was incredible and having the pool to cool down in was fantastic. Be aware the pool is deep with no shallow end but it’s big and sparkling clean. The house was clean and well equipped, washing machine in the garage we could use and decent kitchen. BBQ was used a few times and an outdoor fridge for drinks by the pool which was handy! Owner was very helpful and Answered all our questions. Parking is easy too and the location is fantastic - 2 mins from the beach, two good restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect spot away from the cruise ship crowds at Kotor and well located for day trips. We would certainly stay again.

We received a very friendly welcome by Lillian and she was always available when we needed her. The house was very clean, with a cosy living room area and comfy bed. There was also a nice outdoor seating area with BBQ. The garden and pool areas were impeccable - great spaces to relax in. We stayed with our 9 month old - high chair and cot were provided, which was really useful. The location of the house is superb, with shop, restaurants, and beach in close walking distance. Thank you for a great stay!

We have been here for two weeks until the first week of may. It was really fantastic. In a lot of ways our expectations where exceeded. You just have to experience it for yourself: beautifull surroundings, nice people in the neighbourhood, etc. etc. Sander Hermans

The property is excellently maintained, including a beautiful pool, and garden. It's a wonderful place to stay - we felt very welcomed by Lillian. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Gorgeous villa, good facilities. Lillian was very helpful. Pool looked lovely but was too cold to use in April. Couldn’t fault the whole holiday.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely house, full of charachter and had everything we needed. Close to a lovely beach restaurant and shop. Fabulous pool and garden, and great base to explore the surrouding area from. Thank you for looking after us so well. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden is beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the pool and diving board. Inside everything was super clean and really well maintained. The place looks nicer and bigger in reality than in the pictures. Lillian greeted us upon our arrival and was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience and will definitely rent again when back in Montenegro.

The house was perfect for our needs. The pool was fantastic for all of us, kids and adults. Lillian couldn’t have been more helpful. She even drove me to a butcher’s to make sure we got nice meat for our barbecue! The house was so close to the beach and local restaurants that our little ones were happy to walk, and we never regretted not hiring a car for the duration. A great choice for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Villa very clean, well equipped and excellent value. Service from Vujadin and Lillian excellent. Would highly recommend. Enjoyed sitting by the private pool and enjoying the peace. Kids loved the Wi-Fi !

We had a truly wonderful week at the villa in May 2017. The location is unbelievable, the views from the garden are beautiful. We were made to feel incredible welcome. Everything had been done to make us feel comfortable and at home even a baby cot, high chair and welcome snacks for the children. We were able to visit Kotor and climb to the top of the fortress for amazing scenery. We also made a day trip to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina which is stunning especially the view of the bridge form the adjacent mosque. Our trip to Lake Skadar was also brilliant, travel to Pavlova Strana for the postcard photo. A beautiful country and amazing villa. The washing machine and tumble dryer were so helpful. And the diving board into the pool was much loved. The garden is wonderful and the whole villa was very well equipped. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was lovely to walk into such a cool villa after a long, hot drive. Lillian met us and explained all the details and the we jumped in the pool. The kids loved playing in the inflatables and jumping in off the diving board. The only way we could get them out was to tempt them with the bubbly jacuzzi bath. The villa had everything we needed and at the bottom of the slope (a 2 minute walk) was the local shop with most things you would need, plus a restaurant. The beach was a further 1 minute away and had some areas of shade and was never particularly crowded when we were there (unlike all the other beach areas we saw). We had several day trips out including Kotor, Perast, Skadar lake and national park and Lilian arranged for us to kayak in the bay. We used the outside grill downstairs by the pool and ate at the local restaurants. I would recommend a smaller rather than larger hire car as the parking space requires some reversing down a slope and plenty of mosquito spray for evenings by the pool. We found Montenegro to be beautiful and much quieter, less busy and touristy than neighbouring Croatia and driving more pleasurable.

We landed at Tivat airport, collected the hire car and found our way seamlessly to within 10 yards of the Villa. That's where it all fell apart! No signs anywhere, no notices to say Villa Adriatic, no answer on Lillian's mobile or office phone. We knocked on doors but no-one knew it, or knew Lillian (not even the next door neighbour as it turned out). Eventually, Lillian did turn up and showed us to the villa which actually is set back, almost behind one of the houses. A few signs would have helped. Lillian tells us that she doesn't want signs but hey, she knows where she's going whereas we didn't..It was a very frustrating start to our holiday after a long day's travel. That aside, everything else was superb. Lillian was, as has been said previously by many others, very very welcoming and very helpful, the villa was spotless and very well equipped: we very much appreciated the wine, and food in the fridge. The garden is beautiful, and so tranquil. We couldn't fault the villa for anything. There are three restaurants in Morinje - one at the bottom of the lane where the villa is, one facing the end of the same lane, on the beach, and one about 10 mins stroll away. All were superb - we enjoyed them. Would we return? probably not, but only because the world is so big and we want to explore it more. Conclusion: superb villa, very good value, excellent host, great area. Only 4 stars from us because of the debacle on arrival.

We loved it here, its a beautiful villa with a great pool and lovely gardens its so relaxing. Morinj was a tiny village but 3 restaurants to choose from, a little shop for bread etc and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Really good base to explore Montenegro, we went rafting on the Tara river and to the primeval forest in the east. We were sad to leave and look forward to coming back. Lillian was lovely and we had really clear communication with Vujadin before we set off.

Very well kept villa - beautiful pool and gardens. Just a short walk to the coast and within 5-10 mins of three restaurants. Very pretty area and fantastic views from the hills above the villa. Extremely warm greeting from Lilian and thank you for the welcome pack of goodies.

Very clean villa set in a quiet and very convenient location to explore the country. Everything is exactly as advertised and Lillian is a lovely and very welcoming owner. Both the villa and the garden are maintained to a very high standard.
