It was a lovely place to stay, I’m easy access to Albany. Would have rated higher however the microwave and TV did not work

Rural, roomy, birds, roos, cattle; sheep, roos, birds, dark sky and bright stars at night and all within 5 miles of town, privacy, convivial host.

Property incorporates a wide range of antiques for sale. Location is quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Use Menang Road to access the location if coming from Perth. Note there are no electrical outlets in the en suite.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautifully decorated Stable. The lodgings were comfortable and the adjacent antique warehouse was a treasure trove we couldn't resist. The vintage car collection was an unexpected bonus. Greg was an easygoing, generous host. We loved waking up to birdsong, blue fairy wrens in the garden and sheep grazing in the paddock. It was fun cooking breakfast on the barbeque. It was the perfect, peaceful getaway. Can't wait to be back!

This is a unique property with accommodation in a quaint cottage in the grounds of an antiques shop. Greg is a very friendly and accommodating host.

We really enjoyed the stables. The cabin is stylishly decorated and warm as toast. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the company of chooks and sheep, not to mention the collection of vintage cars and the adjacent antique shop! Greg our host was warm, friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Great. Very different but enjoyable. Great antique shop next door, and friendly parrots. Owner couldn’t do enough. Recommend for anyone who wants something a bit different from the usual

Small cabin very clean and tidy about 10 minutes from Albany Gray stop to stay very quite kick back and enjoy the view

Loved our stay. Perfect place to relax and enjoy each other's company. The antique shop/shed attached was great to browse around. Will stay again.

The Stable that wasn’t, what it promised and changed to Donga. When we arrived after 4pm there was no one around or information left for us. Check in time was after four pm as per email. We found our lodgings on the property, which was a donga. It had a bathroom and bedroom which were clean and fresh, but that’s the best bit. The cooking facilities (Camp kitchen) were a bbq, microwave and a leaking fridge, which you couldn’t open properly due to the bbq next to it and had to be closed with a hook. The sitting area was under the same roof, together with a lot off antique furniture and cars. We had lovely weather but I wouldn’t want to be there any other time off the year as It’s open to the environment and no protection from weather to get into the donga. After the initial shock, and we settled down we still had a good time, but it should have been told in the add. The charges don’t reflect the “stable”, it’s like camping with a bit of luxury, we expected an old stable fixed up with all amenities. The manager called us a day early to ask us where we left the key while we were leaving the next day, as we booked for three days. After all it was just an adventure.

It was as expected I think. we just needed some where quiet and relaxing for our two night stay. Thank you

Great spot, relaxing location. Close to Albany and easy to acces the surrounding areas on day trips. I will be going and staying again.
