We found the apartment very clean and in a good location. Easy walk to the city centre, lake, ferry terminal, train station and supermarket, if one requires one. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had a rental car (Opal Crossland), and the free private, lockable garage was a bonus. It was located about 80-100 m down the road in a private car park, 2nd level. This garage will not be suitable if you have a large car as our car just fitted and took a lot of manoeuvring to get it in. The apartment has a small kitchen, dining/lounge room, good size bathroom with washing machine and one bedroom. Not a huge apartment but perfect for 2 adults and a child.

The only thing that we didn't like was the mattress! It sagged in the middle and was not comfortable. I contacted our host, Alessandro, and made him aware of the condition of the mattress. It was too late to do anything for us but he promised that by that weekend he would replace it with a new one. Hopefully, this has been the case.

Joli petit appartement clair, bien aménagé et propre. Bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre touristique et bord du lac, également à deux pas du marché couvert ce qui est bien agréable pour faire ses courses. Il y a des places de parc publiques dans la rue mais aussi un garage privé et fermé à quelques dizaines de mètres de l’appartement.

L’environnement autour de l’appartement n’est pas très agréable dans le sens que de grands immeubles font face aux fenêtres de l’appartement. Ça manque donc un peu d’intimité si on ne ferme pas les rideaux.

It was hard to get an Uber from there as too close to the station but 25 min walk from station too

It was good size of apartment. Clean. Had tea/ coffee facilities, kettle. AC was working good. WI-FI - good. Safe place.

Windows at bedroom made of wood ( not modern plastic) and you can hear everything even with earplugs ON, what happens outside ( dogs first, then rubbish man comes at 6:00 to collect, then people starting car to go to work at 8:00). Curtains in bedroom are white and not sun proof, so for us it was uncomfortable to sleep with noice and in very bright room. Apartment is just 5 min walk to Como Borghi train station, at night u can hear train too.

Well equipped, large apartment with a compfortable private parking lot. Suitable for long term stay.
