It was an unspoiled, authentic , quiet, comfortable and friendly place to stay. It's close to Cahir, Clonmel, Cashel in an area of outstanding beauty and historical interest. The acommodation is cosy, situated on the first floor so there is a staircase to deal with and it's large enough for two guests.

There is nothing to dislike. We would happily return there. Thank you, Bridget and to your husband who told us about visiting The Vee which has spectacular views across the county!

Ryan's loft is a little piece of Heaven in the countryside. I didn't want to leave there. It's a quaint, beautifully put together loft in a traditional cottage style.....I'll definitely be back.

Hosts were very amenable and thoughtful. The studio was well stocked with tea, coffee, milk, butter and scones on arrival...things that many rentals don't usually provide. It was pet friendly and it was great being able to take our dog on holidays with us. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery.

Really enjoyed our stay. Converted outbuilding with stairs to the attic apartment. Downstairs is a just a little original cobbled space and is a really cool spot for sitting if temperature is very hot as it was while we were there. Apartment was very clean and is nicely done out with traditional features like door latches, mirrors and prints etc. Has everything one needs: cooker, fridge, excellent microwave, delph, cutlery, heaters, hairdryer etc. A new fridge and cooker were being installed as we checked out! Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Lots of shower gel, shampoo, moisturiser etc plus loads of towels. Very impressed! Lovely courtyard for sitting out and it is pet friendly so our little Yorkie enjoyed our week there. The owners Fintan and Breda were very friendly and helpful as was the caretaker Mattie who was very attentive to our every need and was very good company. Working farm so lots of horses, ducks and 2 gorgeous friendly dogs. Pet pigeons/doves were fascinating.

I liked that this property is convenient to all the places I needed to visit during my stay in Ardfinnan. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Mattie is very welcoming and helpful.

The cooking facilities are pretty rudimentary - oven not working, no chopping board, no grater etc etc. The stairs are a bit awkward to negotiate, and the shower head has a habit of falling on one's head!!
